It's amazing how much we rely on technology. The amount of things I suddenly needed to research yesterday which were a matter of life and death was unreal and my books just didn't cut it, the information was so limited.
Shopping today, been rubbish.
Spent 57 odd in lidl
Have given my mum a large amount of things to go on her tesco order
14 odd in b and m
Its all a bit pants.
To top it off DH wanted pasties in the bakery.
In my defence:
Lidl shopping contained some things that will last well into next week and beyond so may end up being part of next weeks budget, I dod save £5 using a voucher though
Pets at home I forgot to mention is all out of the pets account.
Pasties from the wants
B and m partly pets and wants small amount from shopping.
The huge amount of items my mum is ordering is simply because I couldn't get them in any shop I tried and tesco have them, so I am just buying them in advance, no rubbish/treats etc. all good items we need regularly just having a backstore of them as today I ended up paying £5.85 for a small bag of dog food for the older dogs whereas it costs me £3 in tesco, so not worth it.
Also bought a large piece of beef for boxing day and 1 one 1 I am saying 1 tub of heroes for Christmas which is going to come out of the Christmas fund.
I have just put 8 bags of onions, 4 bags of mushrooms and 5 bags of chicken in the freezer, all prepped and bagged up. Lidl had 16 onions in a bag for 49p couldn't refuse.

That is an incredible amount to pay off the debt in just one month especially at this time of year. Almost 10% of the debt paid off in one month. Thank you, I'm not so sure next month will be so good but we are definitely going to try.
I'm meant to be starting to work job 1 full time from home, I haven't had a date yet but i know its imminent. That will be a huge fuel saving for me and a lot less hours travelling a day. I am hoping it will make the job feel a bit better as well, definitely give me more peace and quiet.
I think my next shop will be tesco, I'm not sure whether I just spent more in lidl because I went to the shop but it was definitely more than on my tesco app. I haven't got any vouchers from lidl this week so I think it will be tesco.
I've had the large order my mum got for me so my shopping account is looking a bit sick, but it's things that will last over a few weeks and haven't been in stock so not all bad.
I've washed the cushion covers in the living room tonight, making an effort and they were a bit grubby.
Haven't had the vets bill for the horses blood tests but she does have Cushings and EMS, amazingly the levels are not high enough to medicate so they will check again in 6 months unless she shows more symptoms. Seems weird to me but they know best.
Anyone know in advance what the lottery numbers will be this week??😉

Shopping topped up today, not much needed so far just dishwasher tablets, cereal and butter. DIL brought teabags yesterday as we had run out and they drink loads of tea here ao they were free.
So far 3 out of the 5 want money for Christmas so thats even easier.
Had a discussion on working from home yesterday just got a few things that need finalising and it will be a go, should be within 10 days apparently.*Stop giving up what you really want for what you want now*

Picked up a few things in Lidl today spent £10.85, butter, dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls, food bags and cereal, hopefully we will be ok for a few days again now.
Went to B and M and bought some Christmas decs to decorate the workshop, funded by the business account which will cheer up me and DD we set a budget of £10. Have some mistletoe, a lovely silver Merry Christmas banner and some white baubles to hang from the ceiling.
Heard today that my work from home wont start until January, poo, that's another £50 diesel before then.
Job 1 was a pain today, really hard work desperately hoping we can last this out till the debt has gone and hoping working from home makes a difference, if not it will be a really hard 12 months or so.
Found my business hard today, waiting for deliveries and DH to help me on somethings everything seemed on stop, because giving up Job 1 means so much days like today where my business does not flow make it hard to see a clear path out and then I go into a panic. Being on here, writing about my day and keeping track is helping me focus. I am going to see if I can join a weekly shopping thread.
Still no vets bill through.

Goal for December is to see the debt figure starting with a 25, it's going to be difficult but who said it would be easy?
It's a house work day today, I hung towels over the airer last night which is less time in the tumbler and dried a line of washing outside, it just needed to come in for an air on the radiators.
Today I need to do more washing which will go in the tumbler, hoover through, have a general tidy up, change our bed, maybe make a cake? DH will sort the yard.
DS and his partner have chosen their present so that is ordered, DD and her partner would like the money my mum would like the money. Just DH to buy for now and also my £25 as DH and I have now put all money together.
It's a tricky time waiting to be able to pay more debt, just wishing away the days.*Stop giving up what you really want for what you want now*

The days between pay are hard to manage. I am salaried, but the first week is all about money shuffling and direct debits and then there are three in limbo weeks where I try not to spend or go backwards and wait for the next pay. I usually wish away the last week at least….life is hard! But then you look back at your spreadsheets or signature and see how far you’ve really come ⭐️Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
