Shopping bill came to £34.50, I put the items in the Tesco app and then went to the store with DD, I actually stuck to the list.
It's been a quiet few days, the vet came we are waiting for the results, the ham went a lot longer than I thought so was well worth cooking it in comparison to a packet of ham.
DH found £80 in his wallet that hasn't been used for months and we raided pots and coat pockets and have found quite a lot of change which has enabled us to have the next 3 weeks in all at £30 without taking money from the bank, we had budgeted £50 a week from next week on for shopping so have put this coming Fridays shopping payment into Diesel and the next two into Pets which will help pay the vets bill. Nor sure at all if £30 will suffice for the next 3 weeks but will give it a go.
I've put a piece of work on eBay so have to wait now to see if there will be any interest, usually they go quickly often within 24 hours, it's been longer than that already but I am asking a bit more this time, so we will see.
DD has said she would like to have Christmas in her house so that's fab for me, my first day off on Christmas for about 25 years or so I think, I will probably do a buffet Christmas day evening or dinner on Boxing day but either way it will be cheaper for us this year.
DH is insisting on having home made bread so I have dug out my slicing machine which gives us lots more slices than my carving knife hacking through it, nicer as well to have a thinner sandwich....I did this with the ham also.
I am being very strict with spending and sticking to budgets. Usually if I don't stick to the budget by only a few pound I give up, I am working hard and learning to say a few pound over is a lot better than giving up completely, it's ok so just try again.
So far still have not added to the debt. I've had a sneaky look at the figures and they are looking good, can't wait to update the figures on the 30th November.

Hmmm re read what I wrote and don't think it was clear enough, DD wants to host Christmas in her house so we are all going to hers instead of ours, that's how it is cheaper.
Some brilliant news tonight my ebay sale has happened, payment will be through within a few days which is very welcome and will enable me to purchase supplies for the next project without using the

A few wins there then. eBay sale, not having to host Christmas and not adding to debt and staying on budgets. Well done. Busy few days training, best part is the mileage we can claim and that's about it. Just a ticking boxes pointless exercise which was so frustrating especially as it kept me from my business 2.
Anyway....very happy about the ebay sale, now wondering what to do as the price this time was quite a bit higher, probably best to stick to the same principals so have sent 10% to emergency and 10% to pets and have bought supplies to start the next but one project. It's helping so much keeping the business finances separate.

Have started my new project hopefully a week or so and it can go, poet and I didn't know it 😅
I've begun slicing the bread each time I make a loaf, DS has complained saying he can see through it...true lol..but it is definitely going further and takes less butter as well.
Have though about taking £180 from my ebay sale which will pay most of the £25's for Christmas so that's one worry less.
Cornbeef pie for tea with some chips, or if I am really feeling frugal I might make 3 large pasties with half the mixture and freeze the rest of the cornbeef for another day....yes thats what I am doing.
It's a lot colder here this week but bright with some lovely sunshine, have been binge watching silent witness on netflix but am beginning to think Sam Ryan is a bit up her own !!!!!! 🤔*Stop giving up what you really want for what you want now*

I felt guilty buying it this time with my £30 budget, I used SR flour and half of margarine with a bit of salt, according to DH is was scrummy.
Sausage and mash with gravy tonight with a few yorkshires from the freezer.
I am so frustrated, I've balanced our accounts again tonight and I just can not find £4.80, it is soooooo annoying.*Stop giving up what you really want for what you want now*

A weekend off job 1, bliss.
Huge storms here over the weekend, no electricity still been off all night.
Going shopping later after a meal plan, would prefer to avoid Saturdays but means must.*Stop giving up what you really want for what you want now*

Electricity finally came on at 6pm tonight, freezing cold all day, its surprising how much we missed hot food. At 5pm with the promise of the supply going to be hours away we headed to DS's for Chinese and a warm. Hated having to pay for it but at least we were warm and full, £15 later. Came home at 8pm and the electricity was back on, thank goodness for that.
So today I did not do any washing, hoover, cook or anything else that takes electricity which was pretty much everything. I did busy myself by cleaning out 3 kitchen cupboards.
Surprising how much happier I am when I am off from job 1 even when we are freezing cold with no electric. So looking forward to the debt going and the promise of giving up job 1.
The £15 is going to come out of the shopping budget but if things get too tight then it will have to come from wants, but I really don'want to do that.
Looking forward to 1 Dec when I can finalise this month's figures and get the new debt amount, exciting.*Stop giving up what you really want for what you want now*
