Oh absolutely,  worth it for one cuddle 🥰.
Finally an electrician came to look at the shower, a really nice man.  I thought it would be around £170 to fix the pull cord but it is much cheaper and he's doing lots more work.  Big result!
Tonight's tea is chicken with stuffing slices from Lidl and some chips with salad, happily keeping the costs down.
Spoilt myself this morning with a quick bath and hair wash before I started the day, followed my makeup and hair straightener, a well deserved treat.

Lots more wiring to keep Puppa inside the garden, who on earth bites the end of a hammer as its hammering??
Seem to be getting into a routine, a sleepy evening for Puppa then bed about 10, she's up around 5.30 wanting a wee, a quick play after staring at the stars and breathing in the morning air then she sleeps till around 7.15.
Busy (well as much as I can be) with my sewing today, keep on mucking up on the most simplest things, next week I will look back and be amazed how stupid I was.
If I get a chance I will pop to Lidl for a few things, nothing much just a little top up.
I am keeping it secret but I have actually been dieting for 6 days now ...sshusshhhh......don't tell my stomach...

Nothing much?? Just a top up?? Ha!! £50 later....
My weekly shopping budget is £70 and it refreshes tomorrow so despite a good spend today, I am under budget.  Bought a whole load of meat for dinners, salad, bread, biscuits, Puppa treats  etc. So I'm chuffed with that.
Went into work tonight (which is at home) and everything went well, a good feeling so I left it at a good point and will start again tomorrow, making progress.

Quick update here, will do more later if time.
Have decided to work on one thing at a time to see if that will work.  Overdraft first job, should be clear by beginning December, I think this is probably mentally my biggest hurdle

  • My original overdraft clear date was 26th Nov but after tweaking a few things realistically my new date is 10th October but it depends on me getting paid on time by my customers and obviously me not spending anymore.
Shopping budget stands at £61.44 with another £50 due Wednesday, (I've cut it down)   I don't intend to take it all but just stop back up to £60, I'm hoping this will work but let's see.

A few no spend days but then £43 groceries yesterday which is fine, new budget starts tomorrow.
Worked hard today and got some sewing done.  Puppa is growing so much, she's still absolutely gorgeous 😍,  getting on really well with the others.

  • Excellent progress…overdrafts are expensive and tricky. Will you cancel the overdraft once it’s clear? I do have £100 on mine, but never use it.

Oh dear it does seem as though our debt free journey is not happening, so it is clearly not now or never :(
    Sigh....

  • Oh no, what has been happening? I hope you are well.
I’m finding one step forward, two steps back happens to me quite often, but then I’ll get a good month to make up for it. It’s hard work, but you’ll get there.
