Oh that would be wonderful. Something like testing hobbies out, reading books and reviewing them, tasting new snacks, stroking puppies and kittens…all jobs I’m highly qualified for 😁

I had the money owed to me from the person I care for today, put it all straight in the bank even though some of it was taken from my shopping purse, I thought I haven't needed it so I can go without it and my weekly £70 is coming in tomorrow.
I am really enjoying keeping track of the money, incoming and outgoings, it's a good feeling.
Another NSD today I think that's a run of 4 days, my money tracker app on my phone even sent me a reminder to log my expenses  felt so proud that there weren't any.
Had a bit of a stressy/!!!!!! day at work today, I am nearly at the end of a big job, i've been working on it for weeks, day in day out.  Anyway, I have almost finished it, I put it all together and just needed to do my few days of thinking about whether it is a good enough job before I actually ring the customer (always the same each time DH pulls his hair out over it ) I had called DH to give it the once over and I couldn't believe it! He said 'babb! what about the bit by there!' I couldn't believe it, I had missed out a significant piece and the whole thing was useless without it.  Anyway to cut a long story short, I blubbed, he said you need a break, I wouldn't listen and carried on and now I have to redo that bit tomorrow as needless to say I should have listened and walked away but I blew it, ah well I will never listen.
So after feeling very, very sorry for myself, I realised I am over tired, over worked and generally run down.  Tonight I am going to take a little bit of time to watch telly and put my feet up and not go back to work.
I've made a list for Lidl tomorrow and before I leave I am going to have a really good think whether I have missed off something, then I am going to stick to the list like glue.
I have now contacted 3 roofers to come and quote for our leaks, not one has got back to me.
Tomorrow will be a better day, I wont be so tired for one and I will try and take it slowly, what will be will be.

Stuck to the list in Lidl £34.16.
Have decided that homemade bread uses up too much butter so back to the sliced wholemeal.
Had a nice bath with bubbles and now to sleep.

Home made bread is lovely though! I’m not a fan of whole meal so it lasts for ages 😬

So tomorrow we are having our new little baby she's very cute and deserves a Mum and Dad like we will be ❤ to be loved and cherished forever.
On a money saving note we asked for a discount and were given a substantial one then I saved 70% in Pets at home as it was my first purchase on the app, then had a deal at the vets for both vaccinations, microchip, wormer and flea treatment for the first 3 months for the price of the course of vaccinations.  Shes only going to be little so she won't make much of a dent in the daily food bowls that are already down but of course will have her own puppy food until she's old enough.  I am in love already and she hasn't arrived yet.
I didn't go food shopping tonight as planned, I was just topping up and didn't need anything urgently, I might go tomorrow instead.
We are babysitting two of DD's furbabies tonight which I love they snuggle up and cuddle me.
I've had quite a productive week I've finished my bigger job so I just need DH to finalise the mechanical bits and then I can ring my customer, I've started the next job but nee a few days to think it through before starting properly.
Housework tomorrow and new arrival so bath and bed for me shortly.  I haven't had time to read the amazing diaries here yet, just a few pages on some of them but wish everybody the willpower/luck/focus and whatever else is needed to succeed.

Do tell us more about the new baby! It’s a long, long time since my pupster was a pup.

Well @WinterWarrior she is beautiful 😍 and I am in love 😍, she is a little jack russell and is as cheeky as she is cute.  Our baby girl died a year and a half ago at 15 years and 11 months, after breaking my heart all week over the  decision I've realised it's ok to have some furbaby joy,  I can still love my baby girl and I am not doing any wrong in having another one xx

  • I think taking in a new (fur) person to love is a fitting tribute to the ones who went before. They would not want you to be lonely and you still have lots of love to give to another. I am sure there is no limit to the amount of animals waiting for you on the rainbow bridge….at least I hope not as I must have a zoo up there by now ☹️
I have lost so many cats over the years to illness or old age (and one very very sad accident), but always have room for more, whether they show up as strays or are deliberate replacements. My hound is the first dog I ever owned and is such a spoilt baby. She is getting on now and I dread losing her after she has been the love of my life for so long. Enjoy your beautiful Jack Russell, your old girl will be happy you have company until she meets you again 🥰

@WinterWarrior oh no now you've done it, blubbing again, but you're right in all respects, I absolutely love animals and would fill the house with them if I could.  Sounds like your baby has a lovely Mamma 😍
