Fabulous things are happening here, but I keep looping back to the thought that you didn’t go into home bargains!! 😧 I always fall for sweets and chocolate in any of those type of places, but feel like it has to be done 😬Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

@WinterWarrior I know!! I can't believe I didn't go in either! Everything in there is a must have, especially the Teddy bear face wicker washing baskets with ears that are there at the moment, oh the temptation!!*Stop giving up what you really want for what you want now*

Quite a productive day I think. I have weeded the paddock and menage area of ragwort, not much this year but one is too much. Have started to weed the veg area, DH has said he is going to put weed killer down and then weed suppressor and then next year they will be ready to go in the Spring, we cleared them away last year and used them but have ignored them this year hence they are overgrown again (sigh). I've weeded some of the plants in pots but did not get round to sowing the lettuce, a job for one evening this week maybe.
When DH was having a lie in this morning I turned out the horses and began mucking out, we then finished it together. DH has strimmed lots of overgrown areas and said to me he thinks we are both feeling better because we are getting motivated and he is excited for the future. LUSH!
We've cleared the patio area and moved all the bottle boxes (DH took them to the bottle bank) into the outbuildings and also all the food caddies but one. Looks so much neater.
We've discussed ideas for our living room, we are going to (much into the future I hasten to add) move a patio door to the rear of the room and put in a room divider with a double sided fire, lots to do first though and lots of debt to clear, but it is nice to plan and share ideas.
Overall a really lovely day.
Just had dinner so dishes to do, then a cuppa and some cheesecake and a relax with the telly doing some more crochet, then bath before bed. Back to work tomorrow which will include some sewing, looking forward to that.
Another NSD today.

Ive asked DDIL if she has any spare butter 😱, they have dinner here every day and i have run out! I don't want to go shopping till my shopping budget comes in on Wednesday otherwise I have to borrow from the credit card or overdraft. Thing is with me, if I break my new habits once then I will just crumble and fall, so I have to stand fast.
Busy day in work today and I have just finished from going back again this evening. DH has just made me a cuppa with some biscuits so a few minutes on here and then a bath and bed I think, ready to start again in the morning.
Better weather planned for tomorrow. Farrier coming which is not budgeted for this time but I have made an account and have made planned transfers monthly in readiness for the next time. Horses out overnight so no mucking out tomorrow.*Stop giving up what you really want for what you want now*

A butter contribution sounds very fair, it’s still a cheap dinner for them ⭐️Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

@WinterWarrior my thoughts exactly, either that or it was going to be tuna mayo without any 😊.
It's a little bit frustrating waiting for this debt to suddenly reduce on its own, nothing is moving fast enough for me. I've stopped plum doing it's thing, I can't budget with that taking money left right and centre, although to be fair it's done a better job than me these past few months!
I'm excited for my food shop on Wednesday I can't wait to see how cheap I can make it. I'm under no illusion though and realise all our meals are coming from the freezer so one of these days I will have to start buying some again.
I think being able or feeling able to go to Lidl has given me a bit if motivation, my online shop was so expensive 😅.
I'm using a money tracking app on my phone, not for the bank accounts just my shopping account, its really useful, I keep looking at it but it doesn't increase 🙃.

I’m just the same…I look at my savings daily, even though they can’t go up until payday and I look at my bank account daily, even though it can only go down with direct debits and spending until payday can save it again. I look at my spreadsheets daily, but the only real movement in a good direction is that magic day at the end of the month! I need a second job where I don’t have to do anything 😬
I miss Lidl, i have got into the lazy online shopping habit. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

@WinterWarrior just imagine jobs you could get just like that (snaps fingers) and you don't actually have to do a thing, or even turn up.......bit like picking money growing off trees.
