You never taxed last year 2019 or this year 2020?

Brand new Feb 2018, your MOT would be Feb 20210 -
mot is 6/21. Q is about tax0

If you bought it in Feb 2019, you MUST have taxed it before now.
Even if the dealer taxed it on purchase, that would have expired at the start of this year...
Unless... I wonder if it was done on a DD, and for some reason the DD has failed?
18 plate, so it'll be £150/year, assuming list price was below £40k, and assuming it's not electric.
Silver 1500cc petrol Mitsubishi...? So last V5C issued very early Feb 2019. It's possible that the dealer taxed it on purchase, before the start of Feb, so it would have been Jan-Dec, then you've simply forgotten about renewing it this time last year.0 -
my bad. purchsed 2/19. DVLA letter says mot is 6/21. Not sorned Yes.Silver 1500cc petrol Mitsubishi...? Not moved0

Taxed, I. assume to start 1st February 2019. Renewal would have been sent to tax from 1st February 2020. Somehow 31st December 2020, I'm guessing it was taxed for 6 months in July. V5 issued 5/2/19 so possibly taxed end January 19 which would be due 1 Jan 20 then 1 Jan 21. Doesn't answer what happened about the tax last year though.

Your annual MOT and VED (there is no such thing as road tax) don't have to sync - someone could have done a 6 month one or cancelled the tax when it was sold on but the MOT must be done annually regardless
