Hi Julicorn #57 - Reporting back as of 28/04. My approach (as an older poster with quite limited OP opportunities) is using my pension pot to build up a Mortgage Neutral pot (DIY offset, with tax and company contribution advantages)
- I have added (/overpaid) an additional £6600 since Jan 2021, £2300 in April
- My normal mortgage payments are £5230 since Jan 2021, £1500 in April
- I am now £89K away from being Mortgage Neutral
- Current target for Mortgage Neutral is Jun-23.
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
