Another £25 o/p for January  for #65 please Julicorn - so the total will be £388.19.  Should be the last o/p for the month, somehow managed to come in way under budget this week - no fuel needed, so might as well knock a little bit more off the mortgage.
    Keep Safe.

    Hi, can I join please?

Last year I decided to try and reduce our mortgage by overpaying and did it alone and managed almost £20k. I didn’t realise this forum existed and hope to continue my efforts alongside others doing the same. I’m hoping to reach £20k by 31st December and have started with a £2500 payment yesterday.
Welcome to the challenge, and congratulations on your overpayments so far! :) You've got #106.

No 95 signing in with another £110 overpaid. The bank transfer for £10 found the right account so now I'm testing again with £100 before I send the rest over. The mortgage is now sub £30 000
Thank you - just to check, that's £672 for the month? It would be great if you could include a total for the month when updating, just makes it a little easier :) Fingers crossed the £100 test payment reaches your account safely <3

#10 Reporting my first over payment of 2021. £550 for Jan please. Thanks
  • Hello all, an update I am #83

so looking closely at my mortgage terms I have paid 10 percent off (yippee) last year and my mortgage runs April to April so I can’t pay anything until April 2021 as I think I get charged....

so I am saving up and hope to pay a chunk off in April when there are no penalties.
