Morning  all!!  #65.   Can I please record my October overpayment of £201.38.  The interest this month was sub £4 a day for the first time ever.   It worked out at  £3.997 :D  But it is sub £4 and so I am taking it as a win.
Next month I will own half the house.  Off to do a happy dance around the bit I already own.
Keep it up MFW's !! Thank you julicorn

  • Hi All,

Newbie here. But I've been lurking in the background. Completed a remortgage today from Platform to Nationwide, mainly for the online banking and ease of overpaying. I will start soon, and will officially join your group for 2022. Thank you for all the inspiration.

How do I add the footer, showing my running total etc? Sorry if I'm being stupid.

End of September Report for #57
    • I have added £16.8k to my Mortgage Neutral pot since I started, £1900 in September, £15.1K since 1/1/21
    • My Mortgage Balance is £90.6K
    • I am now £73.8K away from being Mortgage Neutral
Current target for Mortgage Neutral is still Jun-23,

Observant readers will spot I haven't decreased the outstanding mortgage balance - just being prudent as I think I got out of sync with my months, and it lines up better with my XLS.
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine
