Court Parking Fine Advise

Hi everyone,
Just after a bit of help please!
I received a court claim for parking in petrol garage on two occasions earlier this year (parking company is Gladstones Solicitiors Limited), the petrol garage address on the claim doesn't sound familiar at all especially as it's miles away and on the date I was at work.
I've read the guide here and submitted the AOS on moneyclaim.gov.uk but I actually have no recollection of ever parking in the petrol garage in question.
I've contacted Gladstones solicitors asking for evidence which I'm still waiting for.
Has anyone experience this before i.e getting a fine for something you never did?
Thank you!

Which parking firm. 🥱Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Have you sent the PPC an SAR?You never know how far you can go until you go too far.2

Gladstone's are not the parking company , they are a contractor of that Parking company
Check the claim form to see who the claimant is and email a SAR to the DPO at the PPC attaching a copy of the claim form as proof of I D under the GDPR law to obtain all your data
Post the issue date from the claim form below , plus the date the CCBC received the AOS2 -

Parking Control Management (UK) Limited
They are based in Slough, Berkshire.
Can you advice me how to find the DPO's email at the PPC (which I'm assuming is Parking Control Management (UK) Limited)?
I will email them a SAR to obtain all the data.
Thanks in advance!

it should be on their privacy page but I cannot see itso use their contact us page , selecying ALL OTHER ENQUIRIES and add FAO your Data Protection Officer , providing your email address etc and name and address , ideally set up a new gmail email address in your own name for contact on this sagado NOT enter your phone numberor try dpo@pcm-uk.co.uk

On one of their Privacy & Cookies pages they state:Data Protection Officer – Annie Clark | Contact – info@pcm-uk.co.uk
However that page appears not to be linked from any other pages on their website.
Are they trying to keep something secret? Or is it a simple mistake? Maybe that info is out of date. You decide.

You will not get the sar back in time.So
use the template BUT ADD A BIT AT THE START stating along lines of
- the defendant has, to their knowledge, never been at this location, and to their recollection the vehicle has also never been located there.- the defendant and the vehicle were at xyz location on the material date, zz miles from the location of the alleged incident.- no one else had access to the vehicle that day.- the claimant is put to strict proof that the defendants vehicle with reg xxxyyy was at the location on the material date. Then carry on with
in the alternative ...
rest of usual defence.3 -
Do the SAR to PCM as well as a letter or email to Gladstones telling them that you don't believe it is your car.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks everyone.
I've now sent my defence letter to CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk
Should I still send the SAR to the DPO even though I won't get back it in time?
Also should I send the DQ now or wait to get till I get from CCBC as per below?- Wait for your own Directions Questionnaire from the CCBC, or download one from the internet - , and then complete it as described by bargepole in his 'what happens when' post linked from post #2 of the NEWBIES thread -
- The completed DQ should be returned by email to the CCBC to the same address and in the same way as your Defence was filed earlier.
- Send a copy of your completed DQ to the Claimant (or their solicitor if they are using one). Their postal address is on your Claim Form but you can find an email for them by searching this forum, or Google it, because a DQ sent by email is OK and then you know/can prove it's been sent.
