I agree with @henrik777 about the fact that it is terrible that the court expects you to lodge this large sum of money, when you have applied for fee remission. Clearly a person who applies for help with court fees should never be expected to do this, especially when up against a rogue industry. An absolute abuse of court powers, IMHO.
