Filed my defence today. Got the auto response from CCBC so it’s gone through ok. Keeping my fingers crossed for another success story!1

Now read the what happens and when post in the newbies FAQ sticky thread , post 21

Just out of curiosity, how long were the courts taking to acknowledge a defence, set a hearing date pre covid and how long are they taking now? Thanks0

The whole process can take between say 6 months and 14 months , it's definitely got longer because of covid192

You already have an Acknowledgement of your Defence. You will get a letter shortly saying that a copy of your Defence has been passed to the Claimant.
For everything beyond that, have a read of Bargepole's 'what happens when' post linked from the second post of the NEWBIES thread.3 -
Why not search the forum for ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST to read all this year's wins (hundreds!) and see how long those people's threads lasted.
Usually about 10 or 11 months in my experience.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hello, I have now received my DQ from the courts. On the form it does say to complete and post it back to the courts and the other party but I’ve read on the newbies thread you can also email it across. It’s definitely more convenient for me to email it across but just want to check I won’t get any push back because on the DQ form, it does not mention the option of also emailing it?0

Why do people always come and ask this when we clearly tell people to email it. Of course, email it. Our advice wouldn't say it if it wasn't allowed.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
