    Hi All
Just a word to let everyone know that (despite teh fact that I was late to the party with my appeal, and had provided full details etc), I was still successful with my POLA appeal. My advice to all to stick to your guns and don't give up!!! Plus I wont be going back to Stanmer Park again!!! I am very grateful to everyone who has helped, this board has been amazing. Thanks for the support, especially to @Coupon-mad
Regards to all and don't let the b------- get away with it!

You are safe at Stanmer Park now as OPS are not there (except at the top in Stanmer Village roadway).  The Council now have proper car parks with pay and display in the park. Cheap and safe, as long as you pay, and a normal £50/£25 Council PCN rate if you overstay by mistake.

Please stick around on the forum for a few weeks as the Government are due to put out a final public consultation, about the level of parking charges, that they want to start at £50/£25 and align with Council levels.
We need real people like you to please join us in responding.  I am sure you have a strong opinion that if £50/£25 works as a deterrent on street and is now operating in Stanmer Park, there is zero justification for anything higher, except in central London and disabled bays.

The Government plans are being fought tooth and nail by this greedy industry, who are lobbying every level of Government and have even involved a data modelling external company to make it look like their statistics support their argument.
Money talks. We must talk louder and with more evidence.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
