Just taken OH to local Dr's he cannot bend his right leg, it has been like that for a couple of days, but now he is nearly in tears which is so unlike him, so I made him ring the dr's, anyway manage some how to bend him into the car, they have no idea what has happened, issued pain killers / leg rest on the sofa or bed / and time off work as he wf, he has still run in sick!Clean the showerPack an eby sale, some one made an offer so I accepted it.I have no idea yet what Christmas will look like here, because I am normally else where in the world, it has been that way for the last 20 odd years, Christmas day on a warm beach............. House guest is still here and likely to be for a while yet, so I have a tree / decs etc, I'll buy a small turkey or similar chicken? roast with veg, I very much doubt any of the step kids and their various offspring will visit as we are too far away from them all, and there are so many of them, so I guess walking on a cold beach / eating / watching tv etc will do for this year, just to keep every one safe, we can chat to them on whatsapp / phone / skype etc.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Good afternoon!
Sorry I am late in this week! Thanks Valli for the lists, and thanks Natty for last week.
Last we made a meal plan and stuck to it for the whole week!! (first time ever) We managed without doing a top up shop as well. We have done the same for this week and so far so good.
TD is on, washing up done, kitchen s&s.
We picked up our kitten on Saturday. He was very subdued, kept hiding, but was happy to sit with us. He is now asleep on the sofa, in the same room as a 1 yr old & a four yr old, so he is much happier. In fact, he is getting very adventurous!! We have great vets tonight for his jabs & check up. He also has fleas, so want to get that sorted!! He seems to like people - even little ones - but is not so keen on the dog! I will try and post a photo 😊

Meet Maui 😍 The harness was on so we didn't lose him under furniture at the weekend 😂 He doesn't need it now, as he comes to find us if we call him 😊 We did have a panic Sunday night as he was shut in the kitchen, but we lost him!! After searching for about 15 minutes - on top of cupboards, in bins - everywhere - we found him in the hollow behind the sink pedestal in the UR!!
ETA it has been 20 years since we last had a kitten!10 -
Welcome to Flykitty Maui! Very sweet
Has he got a feather duster tail, to help out with the chores?
GWS to your OH, Kaz. Hopefully he can entertain the house guest for you, since he's not working.
I'm still waiting for the hospital phonecall, and the sun is already beginning to go down. Rosie does not like walking in the dark!

aww lovely kitty Goodi

I did everything on Round 1 except wash the dreaded baking trays - but I did wipe down the cooker top and sit and order a load of Christmas presents so I think that cancels out (ish),

Serious kitty envy. When we got our old cat, when the kids were small the exhausted kitten spent 24 hours hidden under a unit (think she was knackered). She lived to be 18 and was a super cat with the kids. Never ever scratched or bit.
Actually Im suppposed to be being contacted by vets re flea treatment - you've reminded me.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Good morning all
Cute kitten, GI.
Nothing of any interest to report yesterday beyond dailies, and I suspect today might be the same, so I won’t bore you.
Busy day of juggling work and oddly timed school runs (thank goodness for an understanding boss).
Have a lovely day all x8 -
Ah the kitten is cute. When we were first married we got a kitten, we had floor length velour curtains in the LR and she used to run up them at high speed, the curtains were peppered with tiny holes.
Last day at the paid stuff before I have a long weekend, I need to use up some holiday entitlement. Washing over the airer, DS seems to be generating a lot of washing at the moment. Right, best go and get a shower and get ready, have a good Thursday all x10
