NST DECEMBER Don't Be a Martyr for Christmas

Wednesday- another spend day so still on 1/15 NSDs. Spent a large part of today helping a friend with an outdoor task, so distanced and safe but good to be able to help out and have a chat. 
Am sat watching TV with christmas decorations all around and a selection of twinkly lights and scented candles- loving this time of year, and loving my new house. So generally just grateful for everything just now!

Morning Turtles! Today I am going hunting.  Hunting in the newly opened c/s for presents, squirting on the way in, squirting on the way out, my hands are a mess, so when I get home I am squirting moisturiser on the poor things so often I am surprised I can still hold on to  a cup handle I am so glossy - although I have noticed fewer clients using the wall squirt box on the way in to the f/b, so wondering if people are starting to forget.  Hopefully it will stop the winter vomiting virus this year.  Anyway...  Happy Friday!!!!  My tree lights on are on already.  Have a gorgeous day, whatever you have planned.

Morning Turtles. 
Yesterday was my first NSD...great, not definately will be spending moneuy over the weekend and today. Christmas beckons!
Grateful for:
Roses from my beloved, and going out ofr dinner with her. My yoga community. Being valued at work - so nice.

Cleaned the shower first thing yesterday. In the afternoon I cooked, brisket with casserole veg in the oven, gorgeous beef and broccoli curry (with added barley), chilli using a variety of beans (only one can of kidney beans in the cupboard and cba to go and delve in the bottom of the soupery), washed all the potatoes in the bottom of the sack and turned them into mash. Mum wandered in to look at the food and asked if any was for tea. I thought the curry might be too hot for her so we had it with mashed potato. In the evening I boxed up 1 portion of curry, 4 chilli and 4 mash then discarded all the solitary lids.

Grateful for getting things done, getting to sleep earlier (no post after midnight) and lovely food (oh when you eat something wonderful and can feel that it is also 'good' for you and your body - broccoli is good for mental health as well).

Up early this morning to wait for a phone appointment. Will be getting an early Christmas present of a new mask (I had asked if there was a glue they could recommend to fix a velcro tab back on, or if it was better to sew it with a leather/ upholstery needle), replacement straps and lots of filters. Now back on the bed as very dizzy. Hoping to go into town to sort out sending money to DS1, DS2 and their partners (and grandpuppy). Do hope it can be fixed and not only solvable by changing banks.

Hiya turtles, disgusting weather here today so will keep me away from shops at lunchtime. Flooding down and windy.  I might even get my 1st NSD.

Lovely night out last night, spent more than I intended but to be fair only had 1 or 2 takeaways all year so I deserved an annual treat.

Somewhere to go on xmas day.

dd2 has finally managed to take the dogs out with sleigh enough snow now.  Dog sleighing in Whistler, not sure they are ready for paying customers yet, sounding chaos but fun.

NSD No 3

Cold and snowy here today. Not a lot happening. Sausage casserole in the slow cooler for dinner and I’m off for a bit of pampering.

Grateful for a nice cosy house.

No.3 NSD today.  Some voluntary work that I was going to do was cancelled.  Due to covid as number of people in location, so volunteers not needed.
Grateful for:
Walk in the park.
Rain stopped whilst I was out.
Watching online a free music concert from Ireland.
