• I've just added a massive £123.46; £43.46 was the total from L!dls (wish I'd had a voucher!) and £80 was spent at the market. That's quite a lot more than usual, which is because I stocked up on a few of DS3's favourite things; he's due back early next week and will be with us for around 3 weeks. We're well stocked up until next Friday, hopefully, though bread & banana supplies always seem to give out mid-week!

PS:  Does anyone know the html for making text larger or changing colour?  Does it work on the current MSE site?
The formatting symbol (back-to-front P then a parallel vertical line) in the toolbar above your draft comment works to select larger or smaller text. The HTML for colour (works in my sig but think you have to toggle the format  using the </> in the same toolbar to include it in a post) is between the start and end speech marks below (and teal is just what I have):

" add the text you want to be coloured "
Excellent, thank you.  I knew about the paragraph icon, but couldn’t remember the html for colour.  Now to try it.

I have another shop to declare.  We went to Lidl and, somehow, managed to spend £36.55. I know £11.98 went on two Baked Camembert With Chorizo.  We’re still debating whether Christmas should pay for them but, for now, it’s come from the Grocery Challenge.   The Grocery Challenge will certainly pay for the rest that we bought: breakfast cereal, coffee, shampoo, etc.  They’d run out of £1.50 veg boxes, but we found large boxes of mushrooms (650g each) for 70p so bought 4.  I’m about to fry most of them with chopped onion and garlic, to make Base for the freezer.

The above brings our GC spend to £113.33/£140.40, leaving £27.07 for the rest of the month.

PS:  I tried several times and, sadly Colour wasn’t accepted in the HTML screen as a command.  It just showed as text. (Must have done something wrong.)

Thanks @JingsMyBucket.  Sadly, I tried again and it didn’t work.
