    That's why I haven't been taking this seriously.

    To the OP, from the dates you have given us, the alleged debt cannot be pursued through the UK courts, so it can all be safely ignored.

    You could if you wished instruct the DPO of the scammers to erase your data for the above reason, and tell them to instruct their agents to do the same. It might work such that they stop sending you free bog paper, or they might not.
    Either way it is nothing at all for you to worry about.
