Where's the term about paying within x minutes?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The claim form is dated 10th November so I wont send off the Aos until after the 15th.

With a Claim Issue Date of 10th November, you have until Monday 30th November to file an Acknowledgment of Service, but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it. There is no need to delay filing the AoS because anything filed after 4pm on a Friday will be credited with Monday's date.
To file an AoS, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.

Having filed an AoS, you have until 4pm on Monday 14th December 2020 to file your Defence.
That's over four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service instructions.
Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.

I will take a better photo tomorrow but I believe it says pay within 15 minutes. I was there for just over an hour, from what I can remember I paid for the first hour and then paid for an additional before leaving after just going over the hour limit.
    Thanks for your advice.

Thanks for your help. I will send off the AoS tomorrow. I have read through the defence templates but I'm a bit unsure as to which facts apply to this case and which to include.
    Kind regards

  • Here is an example of the same sign, that actual one is right next to the ticket machine so is readable. Thanks for your help, I'm just not familiar with what will hold up as a defence. I can technically read it so don't know if I can still use the poor signage defence.

So that sign appears to be at ankle height?

When you say "send off" what do you mean?  Surely you are submitting the AoS on-line!  In another post you mentoned "getting a better photo"; if you have to get a better photo does that mean the signs are not good enough to be read by the driver?
Hi,  I sent it off online today.
  • So that sign appears to be at ankle height?
The other signs next to the ticket machines are at eye level.
