Here's my first proper draft. I'm still getting the exhibits in order, and deciding whether to include or cut certain bits - but would really appreciate any comments. I'd been fairly laid back about it all till now, but as the hearing gets closer, starting to worry a bit :)

Have a look at the case of (Laura) Jopson vs Homeguard (Services) where the judge made definitions about stopping versus parking.

Should I send the bundle for VCS directly to them or to DCB Legal, who were down on the N1 claim form under "Address for sending documents and payments" - pretty sure it's DCB, but thought I'd better check!

Why do you think a company uses a legal firm?  OBVIOUSLY to handle the paperwork...

DCB have attempted (it was blocked) to send their WS by email (3 days late) - I thought they had to send it by post?

There's much more flexibility now given pandemic issues.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Read the comments by Johnnersh in this thread regarding the use of email to serve documents

I know for a fact from family members that use of email has gone up faster than covid spikes and use of paper and snail mail has gone down as fast as some bank balances

The pandemic has changed our world , forever , like home working has risen as fast as office based work has fallen

I have pointed out that I didn't agree to receive it by email, and told them it wasn't attached - will see if they try to resend
