  • Will do 🙂

Well done on the ebay sales. I have some finishing tomorrow and more to add on.
  • Morning all!

It's so gloomy and rainy here. We had a dump run booked but l've rearranged it to next Sunday.

Ebay listing day, lights on for photos for definite! Might leave the bits in the shed until Tuesday so l don't have to dash down the garden!!

    Nsd
    Eat from stores
    Do some knitting
I might sort through the Christmas presents l have so far and possibly wrap some later, will see.
Might do some more work on the pjs. It's the last little bit, putting elastic in the bottom of the legs. I didn't have enough fabric for cuffs, which DD prefers.
  • Trying to put more things on ebay whilst whinging all the time I'm doing it. :*
Up to £60 in sales so packing and wrapping later for me.
Slowly and quietly starting to minimise the belongings of OH  :D. We are fairly minimal BUT it's taken 10 months so far. Paperwork frog down to one seagrass basket - could do more but worried sods law will come into play should I just shred it all.
If I can get away from the Velcro dogs for long enough I will go through my wardrobe and keeping trying with the minimalist clothing thing so I can sell more.
Bathroom pull light has broken at switch point (great) so we will order another and get that sorted ourselves. :hairraisingemoji:

Ham hock today with roast pots and maybe yorkshires courtesy of Aunt Bessie.

    Evening all,
£101 profit off ebay  :) happy with that - everything went for bargain prices but I'm on the declutter so not to worried and nice for people to get some bargains.
Stressful day and didn't stop from 9am to now. Put the lakeland heater airer on to finish drying the washing.
Cheese and fresh olive bread for tea as picked up a block of cheese for 70p (short dated) but I'm sure it will be OK maybe I will grate and freeze see if I can extend its life. Plus one is having leftover ham hock in toasties so no cooking tonight!
Found some loose change in pocket, car etc and put in the bottle for holiday/something else fund.
Need to check accounts so will do that this evening.

  • Today I have done OK with the small things.
Dried more washing on airer, sold a TV and saved about £19 total in ebay fees I hope. :)
I'm think I'm returning a coat I brought as it is a want rather than a need.
I didn't iron the bedding this evening but tided the airing cupboard
(the ironing I feel is a good incentive to part ways with a few duvet cover sets - so a bit of decluttering to do at some point)
Checked accounts and all good although the CTax needs paying.
Hope everyone is getting on OK.

    Morning all :)
Hectic day yesterday, but got all the deliveries (groceries, a large item that OH has been asked to restore, new dishwasher and compost for next year) sorted, everything put where it needs to be etc. OH managed to install the new dishwasher without too much mopping (plumbing was badly bodged by numpties who installed our kitchen). It is much more complicated than the old one, so I spent the evening reading the manual - I only want it to wash the dishes, and no, I don't need to control it from my phone :#
Hoping for a quiet day today, as I have lots to do.  Dog has been walked, had half a shrivelled apple with breakfast porridge (other half in fridge for potential fruit salad tonight). More coffee needed, but then I will:
    Check banks and update spreadsheet
Sort out paying OH's self assessment tax bill, mine already done
Wipe out fridge, as it is fairly clear atm
Strip off bed and remake. Put wash on later - rain forecast today but it is supposed to be dry tomorrow, so if it is washed this evening it can go out first thing.
    Make some cake or scones
Prep and stew some gifted windfall apples
    HM soup for lunch
    Fish pie for dinner later
Check savings accounts, boring, but necessary, and I am lucky to have some savings. For most of my life I haven't.
  • Well done on the Ebay sales Sam. Good luck getting your jobs done Dawn.
