Morning
working today so not much scope to be spending
hopefully it'll be slow enough for me to TOMM our bedroom, now the builder has gone and the furniture is back in there. Totally loving our room now!
Other than that:
* couple of loads of washing - really has built up!
* tomato soup made yesterday for lunch
* all meals from stores
* show oh link to a local sushi delivery. Very exciting as we don't have it round here and we LOVE it. It's my birthday in a couple of weeks and oh has said as we can't do anything he'll treat me
Can't think of anything else! Better go finish getting readyDF as at 30/12/16

Aww it's lovely to have a nice bedroom space @determined_new_ms Somewhere to retreat to. Great news about the sushi delivery too - make the most of the little things.
Eating from stores, nsd. Glad it's Friday. Feeling positive. Will finish the pjs this weekend. DD has placed an order with me for some new leggings. I have some suitable fabric in stock so that's the next job sorted. Pollyfiller can be used in wood as long as it's being painted, which it is, so can carry on with the trunk project. The roof tiles are amended, money from ef so will have to top it back up from somewhere but l'm sure l will find it.
I think the new flask will get an outing this weekend 🤗5 -

Morning folks
@alt80 - things might be a little slow selling at the moment due to general financial uncertainty perhaps? Not sure if people are buying as much?
@ziggy2407 - I hope DH and DS are ok and you are covid free?
Had a nice day yesterday. Decided to give my head a wobble and knuckle down. Did an hour of CPD then did the home workout from the gym. OH had a bad night's sleep but got up just as I was getting showered so we picked up the shopping together, had some lunch and went up to the allotment. OH was (by his own admission) feeling a bit tetchy due to being tired so I let him alone with his drill and carried on digging through the current rhubarb bed. We are going to turn this bed over to veg as it gets plenty of sun and divde the rhubarb crowns and replant at the back where it's partial shade. There is a LOT of rhubarb. It's a 4.5m x 1.5m bed! Found that OH had made me a compost bin when I resurfaced so have started gathering scraps at home in a box.
Got home and I started tea and them we did another workout before slobbing around. Then my friend rang me unexpectedly at 9.15, just as I was thinking about bed and we were yakking til 11.30!!
Several large parcels containing wool also arrived. Not as good as it sounds. Have accidentally go myself into a pickle whereby an old lady has asked me to knit/crochet up one of these part-work patchwork blankets and sent me all the partwork wool.There's 142 x 25g balls!! Apparently I'm making 2 double quilts and 4 cushionsshe has said that she'd pay me but I'd normally charge about £300-400 for this amount of work and I don't feel that I can. Have started on the first square... I'm not a fast knitter. Especially as I'm used to tiny sock yarn and tiny circular needles.
So what's the plan for today? There's a gym zoom workout at 9.30 but I'm sore and OH is asleep (although he might get up in the next 10 mins... thiat is his style). Quite a few house bits to do and the weather is bleugh this week.B/L/D from stores
Cook ham joint
Washing by dehumidifier to dry
Run cleaning cycle on WM
Tidy round
Poss frame my brother's Christmas present
Knit square
Will add more as i go
Have a good one all

Oh no @carrielovesfanta. Is there any way you can say you will do the first one agreed but don't have time for the others? I'm not a fast knitted either. Glad you are feeling better.5

Definitely ought to manage expectations re the knitting commission CLF! No reason you should feel obliged to do such a lot of work at cut price.Ugh, the dishwasher seems to be acting up. Just cleaned out the filters etc (they were already pretty clean, I am quite good on this) and have put it on to rinse in the hope that it will empty itself out. Whatever programme I put it on it just seems to go on and on. If nothing else it is wasting lots of power. It wasn't expensive and is 10 years old, so not likely to be worth a call out fee, expecially as it looks like the programme control thing is on the blink. Normally I would just do without for a while, but a) black friday offers are available atm, and b) not sure what is going to happen with prices after the end of this year. Just put it on a rinse cycle in the hope that it empties itself out. All my appliances are pretty old, apart from the washing machine that I have just replaced. I have money in the appropriate pot - need to ponder.Other than that freezer tetris is required, to fit in the nice beef that was delivered yesterday from a local farm.I ought to make a cake or biscuits of some kindI have dry washing on the airer to fold and put awayManaged a quick dog walk between rain - it is really horrible, high winds and intermittent heavy rain - needless to say dog decided we weren't going to be out for long!DD2 rang to let me know that there is a lot of covid at the college where she works. Some of the TAs have tested positive, including one of hers (she teaches kids with learning and physical disabilities, so always has TAs), and she thinks her bubble might be excluded to isolate. So I won't be seeing her for a while, even on her own outside as permitted4

Morning all - happy weekend.
I'm putting up 15 items on ebayloathed to do it for the work vs return but will be pleased if anything sells as all extra income.
Possibly dying own hair!
Checking drawers, bags and coats for "I forgot about that" pocket change.
Thought about making cookies but only thought about it thus far.
Fakeaway of KFC tonight for tea.
Nothing else to add.
Sam.

Today I will continue sorting out the wardrobe and tidying up the house that became a bomb while the work was being done
* all meals from stores - need to get something out of freezer for tea. Starting to think I'm not going to have time to clear freezers ready for xmas
* having a pamper session with madam when she gets back. Currently out with oh getting boxes for the wardrobe(I should be tidying up and yet I am here
)
* also plan to do some paper maiche (sp?) with madam
* load of washing & put away 2 loads from yesterday
* do some banking - need to update my records as have spent a lot over the last few weeks what with the new car and all the building work
* read free book
* maybe a board game later on
Ok that should keep me out of troubleDF as at 30/12/16

Ooo what recipe will you use @moneyonmymindsam?
Think l will make sausage rolls and we will have chip shop chips later.2 -
@DayDreamerandGeneralWaster
I think it was from latoya. com although not sure as made it before, it was OK but missing a bit more of zinger flavour for me. Now the cookies... they belong to Betty Crocker courtesy of a sale bag I picked up for 50p.... Cookies just add water lol seemed like a good cupboard staple in lockdown 2.
Sausage rolls sound really delicious - leave some out for us all please
Changed the beds, had a bath, now in bed with electric blanket on to save the heating. Not quite hot chocolate time yet.
So made £47 on ebay so far.. Pleased about that.
