The radiation from those wires has really disfigured the kid's face.  You'd think his parents would wrap some Bacofoil around his head.
yes - I "blurred" it as I wasn't sure what (if any) the rules might be on that (same with the reg plate on the car)
Given the vintage of the car, I'd hazard a guess that it no longer exists, and that the child is no longer a child...

I did think that - but:
That car I think is an 80s model
That house definitely isn't an 80s house - the design is far too modern as is the outside electric/gas meter access
That kids bike isn't an 80s style

The car is almost certainly '80s.  It might, at a pinch, be late '70s but certainly somewhere between 1978 and 1987.  It's hard to tell because the normal version of the Mark 3 Capri didn't really change during the production run.  I agree about the house too, has the look of a turn of the 21st century estate.  It also looks like a digital photo, rather than a scan of a print; lending credence to the idea that it's a new-ish image.
Gas meter and bike?  No idea; although our meter box, which probably does date from the eighties given that it was old when we moved in in the nineties, is much bigger, plastic and has a drop down hatch on the front.

It's a Getty stock photo (available on their website since at least 2012 though no date for the photo), so they obviously don't have concerns about needing release from the "model" or car owner - the Capri is a W registration i.e. 1980-81.

    Where's the OP gone?

Is he suffering from "pylon" envy?
I think the OP decided to give up when we all decided to pileon to the thread with some mild trolling :)
