Hi just to say that I got woke up to a nasty surprise yesterday after I wrote my post, I now have to self isolate because I travelled, even though I got home over a week ago. So it seems a but pointless, but we have to all stay at home through Thursday. So I took my frustration ou ton my fig tree yesterday which got the big prune, I hope it survives.
Managed to clean the house so today is more tidying and cooking! And finding some online workout I can do at home for the week!

Morning all
Ebay listing day has arrived. There was more than l thought. This is good because it means there is more potential to recoup some money but also bad because well listing 🥴
Dinner will be shepherds pie. Lots of carrots and peas!
Lovely and sunny this morning. It was super foggy last night, shame it wasn't like that on Halloween!5 -
Morning allI ought to list more on ebay too @DayDreamerandGeneralWaster so I am hoping the light improves so I can take decent photos. It is really dark and murky today. It is mild though - the heating is turned off.Dog walk done, breakfast eaten, bed made, kitchen and bathroom tidied, watered all the indoor plants and refreshed the water in the flower vases, emptied the compost caddy into the compost bin (also added a torn up egg box), picked some kale for dinner later, got crates in from the garage for the shopping delivery later this afternoon, and found a few more things to ebay. Need more coffee now!No big plans for the rest of the day, lunch will be leftover frittata from last night, and dinner will be roast chicken and roast potatoes with home grown carrots and kale.I managed to secure a free shopping delivery slot from Mr S for next Sunday between 6.30 - 7.30 - I guess nobody else wants their shopping then
but I always get up early, and it will make no difference to me.
Might mooch about in the garden later if it isn't too wet (drizzling a bit now). Not a great deal to do, but I could definitely sweep up some leaves, and the climbing rose could do with having dead blooms cut off. There are still a few flowers on itHope everyone has a good day4 -
Morning folks
@ditty1234 - how frustrating! I hope your fig tree is ok though
Well bit of a change in plans yesterday. M-i-l rang us yesterday morning panicked saying that the pond had drained out overnight. We only relined the pond 2 months ago so OH was blaming his brother for not cleaning the filters properly. He told his mum to get his brother to look at it - she's in a bubble with him and he lives round the corner. But then OH was getting stressed out and so we drove down to look. Found b-i-l staring forlornly at the pond whilst pumping the remaining water out, so OH stuck his head into the filter box and started pulling it to bits. I peered into the pond and there was a HUGE hole in one side that had obviously been CHEWED not ripped! A rat has chewed through all the polystyrene around the outside and through the liner to make a run! I bet it got a shock when it ripped the liner and all the water poured through at it
So after m-i-l spending a few hundred quid and OH spending two days doing it up, it's ruined. Very annoying. Will be turned into a planter in the future.
OH didn't want to go to the allotment, claiming tiredness (to be honest, he's now been asleep for 13 hours and counting). His chest didn't sound too good yesterday evening though (he's asthmatic). I don't think he has the c-word but will keep an eye on him - he doesn't have any of the main symptoms.
He had said we'd go to the allotment today but I don't think that will be happening. I'm meeting a friend for a walk at 2pm and the allotment plans involved a good 2-3 hours' work. I think my main plan for today is to give my head a bit of a wobble. Struggling to focus up and do anything that I know is good for me - i.e. cooking dinner, eating healthily etc. OH has reverted immediately to lockdown sleeping patterns of getting up around 11-12 which makes meal planning awkward as we're hungry at different times - he's eating brekkie while I'm eating my lunch. Also, I never know when he'll get up. Just makes it tricky.
Think I'm going to have a tidy round, and then get on with some knitting.
Have a gopod one folks

4 NSD days so far, cant wait to be racking them up this week of not going out. Am a bit jumpy as have now emailed work that I'm not coming in this week, but then it's the law isen't it. CLF I don't think I'll get many figs next summer, but it will look nice and fresh.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Right finally got sewing machine out to try and complete skirt that's been rattling about on my list for a long time - and lo and behold there was a ghost in the pedal, there's a short circuit in it and I can still smell it! The machine just started sewing away as soon as I switched it on. I figured out how to open the foot pedal, probably whats wrong with it, and I have ordered a £5 thingy that might make it work. Worst case I have to spend further £14 on a brand new pedal, best case repair kit will work. FIngers crossed I'll me back on the machine before I get out of self isolation. And yes I unplugged it from the mains before having a tinker.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Spent the day doing / updating an inventory of the larder, which is more work than it sounds. Took everything out, wiped the shelves, wrote down everything there and put it all back. I still need to do the herbs and spices, which are mostly in the kitchen ready for use, home made preserves, which occupy a cupboard upstairs as they won't all fit in, and bathroom stuff / toiletries, which isn't larder related but I might as well know what I have / what I might be short of to aid in making future shopping lists. OH helped, but it was a surprisingly big job. Safe to say I won't be needing much apart from fresh stuff for a while! Oh and kidney beans - there were none of those left!

Wife and I been doing a lot of selling so card debt standing at £29850 when wife collects £200 off her mate tomorrow. Working really well. Looking like we’ll probably run out of stuff to sell at the £23-25k mark. Also been working on keeping to budget not getting into further debt and paying off the minimums.
Found some enthusiasm for the business and btls. Taken on a flip project. Won’t do anything for the personal debts but will help me on the btl LTVs.
Been working on spending time with family and working on mindset. Not a day goes by that I don’t feel tempted to buy stuff but I’m seeing it’s an addiction that wasn’t helping me. Still having counselling. Slowly working I think. Couldn’t have faced this until now not just about debt but about changing my mindset. Wish I could have faced it long ago though be in a better position business and personal.
Thinking about goals next week:
1. X7 things up for sale.
2. X3 exercise (sprained my ankle so just upper body x2 and something else x1 wife will come up with something no doubt ha)
3. Update expenses/ cards spreadsheets.
4. Finish work 6.00pm and switch email off.
5. In bed for midnight.5
