Morning everyone! 😊
Expensive week this week already! 🙈 tumble dryer has decided to give up the ghost so I've ordered a new one which will be delivered today - I just hope it turns up early as I have a mountain of laundry to get through! Thankfully I have a household fund so the cost is covered but I hate the inconvenience! 😩
Food has been from the freezer and stores - I have a kaffir lime plant which I think I've over watered and all the leaves fell off 😔 so I decided to use them yesterday in a Thai type curry! 😂 It's lovely and that's tonights dinner sorted!
I've filled in my budget sheet, moved all my money around and have had 2 alcohol free days so all is going well!
Hugs to those that need one x6 -
Morning all and thanks for this weeks thread @determined_new_ms.
Virtual hugs to those who need them.
In the way of small things
* All meals from stores
* Made lime/lemon curd with some fruit I'd sliced in the summer and froze to go into drinks, they were taking up too much precious space in the freezer so curd was made! Not as nice as my other one but will go on natural yogurt with stewed fruit.
* Made a lovely new sweet potato soup recipe which will be my lunches for 4 days
* Sent ds2 off to school with a packed lunch (ds1 is home schooling this week)
* Checked banking and updated spreadsheet
* Ordered dh some jeans online, went through tcb and had a discount code (not from our money as its money his mum sent for his birthday)
* updated freezer list and then wrote up a meal plan for the week.
Take care all.Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.

Evening all
I made another overpayment off the loan today so it's gone into the 9s yay!
I swallowed some frogs - made stewed apples before they went too far over, washed the jeans (l put them on a separate wash to stop the zip teeth wrecking other clothes) and started to remove the handles on a trunk l am going to paint.
It's DDs birthday on Thursday, her first with no fireworks. Maybe we will see some from the upstairs windows. We are off for ice cream tomorrow before lockdown. I just thought l guess they will still be open on Thursday! But can we still visit? 🤔 Think l'm losing the plot with all these rules.
I just had an Amazon delivery so now l have a box for more books to ziffit! I hope they collect them, it's a 20 minute drive to our nearest Collect Plus drop off 🙄
I made a start on a other pair of pjs for DD and the fabric has really cute bunnies on it. Mine has dinosaurs on it 😂 sounds about right x

Morning allBrrr, freezing fog here this morning, so it was a chilly dog walk! Sun is coming out now thoughToday I have / will:Finished off HM fruit loaf from weekend for morning toast (yum)Claimed £15 of Amazon vouchers from survey sitesCheck banks and updated spreadsheetReceived a refund for one of the things I returned recently (a new winter coat that didn't fit)Kitchen and bathroom clean up, as usualList some small items on ebay that I brought back from my sales unit yesterdayMight try and take some new items to sales unit, as owner is going to be selling online via Instagram and FB during the lockdown - she did quite well last time, and thinks she will be allowed to do click and collect from the shop this time (everyone is still very confused about what the rules will actually be) so worth a try.5

Morning (just!) folks
Well I've got a bit of news - I've been furloughed! Wasn't really expecting that! The covid stuff has caused delays to several incoming projects at work so rather than us sitting and twiddling our thumbs, they've decided to furlough us. Makes sense really and I'd rather do an hour or two of focussed CPD a day than try to stretch it out day after day. We will still get full pay though as they are using our holidays to account for the other 20%.
OH's work ARE going to be closed - after posting all over social media that they weren't. Can't say I'm suprised as it's not curricular education.
So today's small things:B/L/D from stores
Last day, WFH
Heating on low (it's gone very nippy here). Find that if I set the thermostat to 18 deg then house is warm enough as long as am not sitting still too long and am appropriately dressed
Set a day plan for myself to keep me in a routine. I thought that work would keep me in a routine, which would help with my home workouts but looks like I'll have to rely on old fashioned motivation.
Knitting perhaps
Have a good one all

I know many people would not feel like this but l would be quite happy being furloughed if l knew l would be going back. I have always got things to do around the house. I am a Cancerian so home is everything.
DD is 8 today. It looks like Christmas in the living room at the moment 😂 We underspent on her budget. It's a bit of an awkward age as she's too old for toys but doesn't really want teen things yet either. She is happy with her games though.
Eating from stores for me today. Glad it's Thursday already.
Have a good day all5
