Morning all. Hope you're all ok today.
Not a lot of flying done here apart from dailies except that DH did the hoovering this week and said how useless the hoover was so we got a new sh@rk. Omg, the house was filthy. MSE, got it for 30% less than normal price.
Today, put sealant round bath and plant bulbs.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.7 -
Morning all,
I was fast asleep by 7.30! Don’t feel better for it though. Today’s jobs are eBay listing; I would love to make £200 I feel I can from it.
We will get out for an autumn walk later too. DW hasn’t been on since Tuesday 😱 so that’s my first job.
Will report back later xx7 -
Hello
Well, I’m showered, dressed and breakfasted.
a few dishes from last night WUDUPA
hoover and cleaning bits taken upstairs ready to start
first load swished through in wm, am about to peg it on the line
DH ‘encouraged’ to get out of bed to make a start on his jobs, not worked yet though
kettle going on for a second cuppa, have changed my plan slightly and am going to blitz through some house stuff first before doing the work stuff.
Back later x6 -
Was it so bad that my first thought at 1.30am was WAC? Nothing to hand to type it out and share, and, like Round, I was awake so long that I think I bored myself to sleep around 5am.
Today I have to get DD to work, then I am going to the allotment for a couple of hours. No exercise and very little fresh air over the past couple of weeks is definitely taking its toll. Goes without saying that flying downstairs especially has been minimal this week. I’m still enjoying the novelty of opening the front door and finding a pint of milk waiting - takes me back to my childhood. Little things!
((Hugs)) Badcat. It sounds like you are having a tough time atm. Don’t forget to look after yourself as well.
Back later, have lovely days all x7 -
Morning all. Sorry to hear that WAC has been open since silly o'clock again.
@kazwookie - I meant to ask if the lemon drizzle survived the onslaught of the cake snatcher?
Glad your new sh@rk brings joy, @Jazee
I have finished off one froggy job this morning which involved sending a long text message. I'll just say that the predictive text was interesting
DH is making breakfast (his first time for 3 days) and I shall be spending all morning in a Zoom meeting. I don't think I shall get much else done today, except Rosie's walk this afternoon. She is currently sleeping off the exhaustion of coping with the fireworks, but there will doubtless be plenty more tonight for Diwali.
Catch up later... Please don't forget to sign up for the Flylady Secret Santa if you want to join in.

Morning xx (again)
I'm up and supping my first brew. I've made my bed and brought down the 'overflow' from the laundry hamper. (Having seen the aftermath of a fall down the stairs by a colleague at work during the week I decided that two trips were better than one) (pun noted but not intended!). WM is swishing DS's work fleece and jeans / work trousers are lined up to go next.
I've heard, on the grapevine, (but not officially yet) that I can move back in to the office I was recently moved out of. I was so relieved when I heard the news that my eyes leaked. Next time a move is mentioned I WILL listen to my gut - all the other moves have been fine, but this last one: I felt sick from the first time it was mentioned. I have reminded my manager that I did tell her what would happen if the old tricks started. She acknowledges that, with hindsight, it wasn't the best decision to put me in there but I get Brownie points for giving it a try. And as I pull my self out of Black Dog Alley and round Anxiety Corner it'll be just another part of the roller coaster journey of life.
No takeaways today. DS and GF can have burgers (in freezer) for lunch and we'll have jacket potatoes, cheese and beans for tea. My bank account took a hammering last month - but survival was my main aim, sometimes saving has to take second place. And I did buy Christmas presents - although I may have eaten the After 8s that were bought for DSil
I'll have my second brew, and breakfast; get dressed; and then sign back in with Round 1.
Have a good day. Stay safe,

Quick check in from me:
- washing machine on
- dry laundry folded and put away
- DW on a long, hot wash. WUDUPA other bits
- poo picked
- rubbish and recycling out
- microwave cleaned out
I think it's time for breakfast! 🙂7 -
Dailies are done and took the dogs for a walk, well Poppet was in her pushchair. Can't do the sealant as apparently we need a gun of some kind, and I don't fancy planting the bulbs until the fog clears and it warms up a bit.
I have played with new toy again, still so much dirt, but am going to do physio next.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
Iona, the cake is safe! but all the scones have gone! I don't mind I made them for eating, and scones are relative cheap to make.OH wants me to teach him tomorrow how to make brownies, so that should be fun he believes that folding in and leveling off a cake or similar, is wacking the tin on the work surface and beating the mixture to with in an inch of its life.........Anyway we were both awake early so we have done our 10K in steps, to cliff, down the steps, turn left, walk on beach to local town, up prom steps, into local town, wander around, then back home via the paths near the road....Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

I'm ready for action and I've already: pegged out DS's work fleece; set WM swishing with jeans; brought down laundry hamper; put out the cans that I'd rinsed for recycling yesterday evening; put cardboard and plastic bottle in recycling bin
Round 1 =HHC starting now.
