Morning everyone, Just back in from this mornings lesson. Gosh it was cold and frosty but now is lovely and sunny. Before I went to work this morning I got lunch prepared so only had to turn the oven on when I got in, just hope it's cooked by the time OH gets here. Afternoon task is lesson plans for tomorrow, it's my last lesson for most of them.

See you on Friday8 -
Hi all
Tired tonight. Had a bit of a run in with a client at work last week, I thought I had handled it well, but they have made a complaint about me. Hard not to keep thinking about it, my manager said not to worry, but not sure what will happen. Its not a nice feeling.
Otherwise had a good day, chilli in SC for tea, one load of washing out, been for a brisk walk. Will do a bit of yoga in a bit and read my book. Not a huge amount of flying done but tomorrow is another day.8 -
YL.. some people are not happy unless they are complaining and causing others to be as miserable as their own sad little lives.. listen to your manager, they know you!! xx Complaints procedures are usually just a formality and rarely come to anything.
Lost my cool over Dot ASD referral.. the useless good for nothing put the forms in wrong AGAIN so they were once more sidelined.. they didn't even get as far as the Autism team! I am ringing them again tomorrow to see what was discussed on the phone today and see if the forms have been corrected and sent back.. but I am NOT a happy chicken!
DW and 2x WM done
I am going to find uniforms and get pack ups done and we are trotting off to the shop.. fewer cretins out shopping at this time of night! It's blooming freezing though!

I'm officially carrying on work as normal during lockdown, back to my pre-March 2 assessments each week. Today's student was nice, very scathing about those who were throwing fireworks and **sing about at the weekend saying they were acting like children (she's 18); she's concerned those with whom she shares kitchen etc are already hoarding/rationing loo rolls.
wudupa this morning while Mr N was at his last gym class for a while.
Sorted the endless pile of apples in the kitchen and composted a load sadly as they go off so fast and the freezer is full.
Glad I brought the plants in last night as there was a fair frost this morning but turned lovely (naturally, as I was at work pm).
Had various IT discussions with my Mum today; she does extremely well for her age but gets very confused over terminology so we end up talking at cross purposes when she's stuck on her tablet or PC. Patience.
Did a bit of drum practice.
Tidied up a few delinquent sites/short cuts/apps on my laptop and set up file for tomorrow's student. Organised her paperwork.
Sorry that is all for today. Mesmerised/incredulous about the fiasco of the US election.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.5 -
pack ups done.. I got brioche for Twinkle and bread bombs for the other 3.. they are all reluctant with sandwiches so we shall see.. I'm concerned the packups are full of junk food.. OH says they are ok.. but.. a sandwich/brioche, popcorn (plain or salted not toffee or anything gross) a piece of fruit, a fruit winder or something, a yoghurt or sugar free jelly and a packet of crisps or one of the mini packets of iced gems or similar, today they had cheese savouries too which 2 ate and 2 did not.. is that all junk? I am struggling to find something Twinkle will eat, she doesn't like bread so rarely eats sandwiches, she doesn't like savoury scones or bagels or cheese straws or sausage rolls or pastry which is why I am trying the brioche.. if she doesn't like these I may be stuck for another idea... ah, no, if she doesn't like this I will try a salad bowl.. she likes carrot and cucumber and tomato.. I can fling in a few bits of pasta or raisins.. yep.. next plan.
Polly the Idiot Cat dragged in because she is terrified of fireworks and was hiding outside because she was too stupid to come in before the twits started trying to blow themselves up...
Tesco bought.. had a 10% voucher so saved a good chunk there.and stocked up on necessities.. but forgot bread.. and I bought a million loo rolls and a few gallons of squash and forgot to get bread..
Furry beasts bowls washed and beast fed
trays all cleaned.
My oldest needs £2000 to open a takeaway.. I really want him to have it but I don't think I can help... I may need to sell OH..

Morning all,
I've been up for hours for various reasons that I won't bore you with. Consequently I am showered, the kitchen is tidy and the children are munching toast. I really really REALLY don't want to go to work today, I am concerned about the amount of time I spent with a child who I have found out has tested positive. But I'm expected in as normal, so I will. I am going to do a job application tonight, at a school closer to me and a different role. I'm just not happy, but am aware of my very low mood so I have a call out to the doctors.Flying wise, not much, I am getting some sparklers and pies for us to enjoy tonight. Take care all xx7 -
Morning xx
Hugs to asb and anyone else who would like a hug this morning.
Paid stuff today then no more until Tuesday. Woot woot. Serious flying will have to be done - no scrap that... fun flying will have to be done (I'm fed up with serious!!!)
Hope you all have a good day

oh my...
up late; spotted next door's builders were digging up the entire border so dashed out to save my beloved peonies. And my cyclamen and managed to rescue a bit of the South African perpetual daisy thing...thought I had missed. So hauls self back in for breakfast to spot 14 missed calls. Heart sank... sure enough from work. A teacher off sick; could I cover? In two minds but since I'm supposed to be being careful and since I also need to pot up all these bare-rooted plants I have declined. I feel a bit guilty but I have loads I need to do today. I really didn't need the plant job adding to my list but there you go.
