Weekly Flylady Thread 2nd November 2020

Not an enormous amount of flying here done either, bits of admin done, living room tidied (again only slippers to put away and cushions to straighten).  Just had lunch with OH and I'm going to finish my coffee and head out to the supermarket.  I have a list, it's very long but hopefully will mean we get to eat some healthy meals for the next week.

Scones made now cooling but I noticed that at least 3 have vanished

Bin out for council lorry

Pheasants feeding in the garden

Cat in field chasing squirrels

Other boring stuff done such as sweeping the kitchen floor!

GF's uniform collected and called at Mr C00p on the way home for a few bits for the weekend.

Towels / tea towels swished and pegged out - they'll get a couple of hours in the sun even if they don't dry completely.

put out the rubbish / replaced bin bags
set WM swishing 
put out cardboard recycling
rinsed and recycled cartons / plastic bottles
rinsed and recycled 18 cans
WUDUPA a bowl of pots
reloaded the bowl with pots
put away my wellies

Sorry round, I would have joined you but I was out in the garden.  All this year's new tulips, daffodils and pansies are now planted   I also swept up two more large trugs full of leaves and dumped them back in the copse opposite before we sat down to a very late lunch.

DH has had a phonecall from his consultant cardiologist and everything is good, so his medication carries on as before and he is being discharged (until the next time he goes into AF)

DD just sent me a link to a video of DGS1 playing the Last Post at his school's Remembrance Parade.  One very proud granny here.

I did manage a bit of admin this morning.  As soon as I've drunk my coffee I must take Rosie out for her walk and I'll try to do a bit more paperwork when we get back.

I was with you in spirit as I went to the supermarket and did a big shop.  We have interesting food, some fun bits for me to cook with and wine so should be good for a week or so.  Everything has been put away too which is a miracle here and there's not even the toothpaste and shampoo left of the stairs!  I must be learning.  Now need to order cat food so I can pick it up from the vet next week. OH should be home in next half hour so I will wait and have a cup of tea with him and the weekend can start.  A couple of admin jobs done too.

Hi all
Long day at the paid stuff yesterday, the issue with the complaint still rumbles on, it has to be reported higher up because of our slightly OTT policy, but everyone keeps telling me not to worry.

Worked until 3.30pm, been out for a walk, did one load of washing, everyone fed, have hoovered and mopped floors which were filthy, will have to fly a little tomorrow.

Glad its weekend!

Well... WHAT a day!!!!
ASD referral reopened.. 5th referral/3rd time submitting it this time.. if they don't accept this referral there will be hell on earth.. you think this US election thing is a $heepstorm... I WILL top that! Believe me I will.
Twinkle woke up with a nasty sore throat this morning  so I kept her home.. couldn't be faffed with having to go pick her up if she dared to cough in school.. anyway.. 10:30 we get a text saying another child in the class has tested positive and to pick the class up immediately.. I won there!! She started coughing about lunch time so we got her in for a test at 4pm.. I saw the head at hometime and reminded her that if my lot get it 5 of the 7 classes are shut for 2 weeks.. She hadn't realised.. that brought me happies.. haha.Twinkle had to wear a mask at the test centre, she absolutely adored it.. she has worn the thing for 4 hours and people whine about wearing it for 2 minutes to go in a shop!

I had a second opinion hearing test and failed that one miserably too.. so, I can have hearing aids or just ask people to speak up every 5 minutes.

As a result there has been no flying going on, I just haven't had time.. I think bossing OH to clean the litter trays was a flyish as I got.

OH pre-ordered the new iphone pro max today.. least said is best in this situation.. least said.. Thumper was a wise bunny!

Morning all

WAC here so I figured I may as well get up. Barely any flying beyond the dailies done here again this week. Work has been hell. I’ve got my promised help so have started handing over some tasks, it hasn’t yet resulted in more time for me though. I am going to have to work at least part of this weekend as there is stuff to do that has a Monday deadline... mainly my end of year review!!!

Anyway, I got a shopping list and menu plan done last night while tea was in the oven, DH will do the shop this morning while I get some work done, then we will fly through the house.

I hope I’m alone in the WAC, be back later with a progress report x

Planning a couple of HHCs during the day. I'll be glad to have company if anyone else is up for it.
