I was up at 6.00 and have now given up all semblance of being sleepy, so I'm sitting here with a cuppa and am about to attack the GIft Aid claim that has been on my to-do list for a month.
If the forecast rain keeps off, other jobs planned for today include planting the remains of last year's spring bulbs (not still in their packets, I hasten to add!!! - these are the ones I removed from the patio pots last spring to make room for the summer display) and 2 packs of mixed alliums that DS1 gave me, as well as sorting and filing a pile of papers that has mysteriously accumulated on the piano stool. Hopefully tonight will see (or hear) the last of the fireworks for a while. Rosie has been very unhappy this week.

Morning. The fog still hasn't lifted and now it's raining too so I think another day indoors. Dropping dogs off today to be looked after while DH has his surgery this week and we're not even allowed to leave the house for a walk.Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.7

Morning xx
Foggy here too - so laundry shuffle day it is
I'm up, my bed is made and first brew supped. And I've refilled the tea caddy.
Round 1 =
laundry shuffle
brew 2 and breakfast
get dressed
feed birds
That'll do for starters.
Have a good day.

Hi all
Valli my Mum was ill a while ago but wouldnt be honest with anyone about the symptoms because she was scared of ending up in hospital, which really isnt helpful. Must be a worry for you, hope she is OK x
I am downstairs under my heated blanket catching up on Strictly from last night - everyone else in bed. Its so grey and foggy again!!! No idea what today brings, I definitely need to get out of the house a bit.7 -
Morning all
some early risers this morning!
WM, TD and DW all x 1. Laundry was towels and cleaning cloths so I now have fluffy towels.
Made myself a ☕️ and folded while the kettle boiled. Nice to see the kitchen looking better, gives me the incentive to carry on.

Morning again...
Progress report from me
bathroom and en suite scrubbed, all towels set to swish
next load of laundry lined up, it will be a TD day here I think
laundry from yesterday folded and in airing cupboard, second airer shuffled around so the inner bits will dry
bed made
all upstairs bins emptied
my office tidied and dusted
litter trays emptied washed and refilled
DH bossed to get out of bed and help, he is currently hoovering the top floor...
just taking 5 to catch up with you all then I will get back to it...x6 -
Update from me,
Dog walked into the village, got cash out which I needed.Dry laundry FUPA. No more laundry whoop!Kitchen tidied, it will very soon not be tidy as I'm doing a full roast today but it's nice for a while!I have a child free house now for an hour, so I've lit my wax melts and will potter online for half an hour. Oh, also sold two more eBay items so £45 made in the last 24 hours xx
ETA just sold another item for £30! Whoop!7 -
Round 1 completed + recycled the cans that were rinsed yesterday evening, and because I've been tardy I've had time to do a second laundry shuffle.
I've downloaded a document that promises 5 steps to find your mojo. Step 1 is a brain dump - so that's promising. I can do that
Coffee now. Then I need to think what I need from Mr C00p as both DS and GF need pack up tomorrow and I've not even thought what we're eating today. My meal plan went up to, and included, last night's tea, and very well it worked too. Note to self: as you come towards the end of planned meals, plan the next lot.
