Jammy dodger, my boss reckons cheese on toast is the finest meal there is! I'm very fond of it myself, esp with cheddar or feta cheese ... I wrap the feta cheese in foil with a slurp of olive oil, a pinch of smoked paprika and another pinch of chilli flakes, and put it in the oven for five to 10 minutes, spread it on toast, nothing is finerjammy_dodger said:after 2 spendy days i have had a NSD 2/15 today
after making a rough meal planner for the month i picked up the shopping over the past couple of days so all stocked up ...just gotta cook now and hate waste so no excuses
can be quite lazy when its only one to cook for cheese on toast is too easy an option sometimes
shouldnt need to spendy for a while.....well...thats the plan
Meanwhile cheddar is fabulous with Worcestershire sauce

It is really delicious and sometimes I have it with stewed red peppers on top for the evening meal ... it's very simple and cheap and tasty. I use about a quarter of a packet of feta cheese btw! It's the ideal amount for one piece of toast.LivingInTheBlack said:

Me too jammy dodger, love Worcestershire sauce generally actually. I love Welsh rarebit too but don't make it often because I don't drink beer so would have to get it in especially. The stovies sound yum!jammy_dodger said:i Love worcestershire sauce with cheddar cathybird its a dish called stovies today and next few meals on menu
