Even better when you attach a dog to it!! I do bikejoring with my dog. Hence getting it serviced. Brakes are a must ....my feet cant cope with the attempt to brake!! Lol!! I wouldn't be happy to bike in London too many idoit drivers around!! It costed me £132.50!!!!! 😱😱😱😱 he did say it's a good bike so worth doing it!! Wasnt expecting it to be that much!! Needs must as we love bikejoring!!cathybird said:
Bikes are still such a cheap way of getting round though, and really good for fitness too. I'd bike round London but am too big a scaredycat I'm afraid.berries said:
Lol!! Snap!! I'm doing the same! Need to use it up before xmas food etc. Yellow labels are great even better being a colleague as it becomes free if left and of the night. Another nsd yesterday as I forgot to buy juice!!Charliebear said:Still eating my way through my freezer so today was another - NSDs - 3/10. I'm trying to resist buying any thing else to eat until my freezer and cupboard is almost empty. I've calculated I have enough supplies for at least 39 Meals - I can never resist the yellow stickers when they are on final reductions and my freezer bears testament to my weak will
I did have to pay for my bikes service though 😱😱😱
You're too right about drivers in London, and roads are too crowded too, even now. If I ever move out of the city I might try to move somewhere where cycling is a bit easier.

Plenty of month left, Charliebear, and £5.19 actually sounds quite a frugal spend!Charliebear said:Sadly today was not a NSD. I had a 75p voucher on my lidl card that expired today - ended up spending £5.19 after the voucher. Onwards and Upwards

Jammy dodger, my boss reckons cheese on toast is the finest meal there is! I'm very fond of it myself, esp with cheddar or feta cheese ... I wrap the feta cheese in foil with a slurp of olive oil, a pinch of smoked paprika and another pinch of chilli flakes, and put it in the oven for five to 10 minutes, spread it on toast, nothing is finerjammy_dodger said:after 2 spendy days i have had a NSD 2/15 today
after making a rough meal planner for the month i picked up the shopping over the past couple of days so all stocked up ...just gotta cook now and hate waste so no excuses
can be quite lazy when its only one to cook for cheese on toast is too easy an option sometimes
shouldnt need to spendy for a while.....well...thats the plan
Meanwhile cheddar is fabulous with Worcestershire sauce
