Just wanted to update that Sainsbury head office said that they had no 'white list' that my car could be added to in reation to my current situation.1505grandad said:"For future visits see the store manager and ask for your car reg. to be added to the white list.Gosh do they really have such a thing? It's certainly worth a try.I have been shopping in alternate places due to money saving needs but still find myself there about once a month for things I cannot find elsewhere, so it could be really helpful. Thank you"As @pustit says they most certainly do add relevant VRM's to a "white list".I sent an email setting out my circumstances and included the following:-"I am therefore requesting that my car, a black xxxxxxxxx, reg.no.xxxxxx, is added to your "White List" of approved vehicles permitted to park in your various stores disabled bays. If some sort of permit or other document can also be provided to put on the windscreen to prevent the issue of a dreaded parking charge by any parking wardens, this will also be very helpful."Within a few days they replied:-Customer.ServiceTue 22/10/2019 08:45Dear xxxxxx,Thank you for your email. We've arranged for the registration provided to be added to the system to ensure that you can park in disabled bays at our stores without receiving a parking charge notice. If you change your car at any point can you let us know so the system can be updated.Kind regards,Lindsay | Sainsbury's CarelineSainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd | 33 Holborn, London | EC1N 2HTcustomer.service@sainsburys.co.uk

You're absolutely right and I should have pushed back but I reverted to type and just accepted that my situ does not warrant such a classificationCoupon-mad said:
