Hi everyone! I'm so excited that I finally sorted our pot out and am ready to ask if I can please join you all on your potting journey?
We started our pot (a glass vase) in November after counting a total of £170ish from the last year so just happen to have started at the same time as many others on here.
Our new pot is a sealed down cereal storage container so no picking out the pounds for a sneaky cafe lunch from now on! The old vase/pot is now for brown money only.
We've counted £82.35 from the old pot + £6 our lodger paid us for our surplus Christmas Chocolates. So we start with £88.35 already please ☺"Why not now, OK so when and how," ElephantChunks.

#13 here. Just emptied my purse into the tin except for £1 trolley money. I don’t count it as I like a surprise. Also saving into a bank account this year, I’ve paid off my debts so am trying to save some cash towards a holiday in the next couple of years.Declutter 2025 in 2025 0/20255

Happy new year to Sue and all potters, old and new! I have had nothing to pot for the whole of December because I'm not going anywhere to use cash 🙃 but hope to find other ways to save this year. Nothing is the same 😔😷 I need to start thinking outside the box, as they say 🤔
Have a great week everyone xSealed Pot Challenge #012

Hi,
Can I join please?
Ive started a change jar, would like to save about £100 towards Christmas next year. I’ve got about £3 in the pot already and found £1.20 roadkill on my walk this morning so have added that in.3
