Good morning, 
Can I join this challenge. I have a tin that I got for Christmas and have started off with a few coins. Would love to get to £500 to put towards our annual Devon Holiday in 2022.

Belated Merry Christmas everyone! our christmas present was joining the rest of the East side of the country in Tier 4, wooo! Hopefully this will be the last time we need to be locked down
DD bought herself a game on her phone and somehow managed to pay using my paypal despite choosing her own card as payment, after much panic on my side about an unauthorised payment from my account we finally figured out what she had done so she kindly gave me £1.99 in a large collection of change into the pot that went
Right i'm back off into my world of books and embroidery, if I don't get my niece's jumpers done soon I can see her breaking lockdown to hunt me down!  Ahh the pleasures of a 13 year old niece

Ooooo just realised there was a flurry of new joiners! welcome!
Everyone is welcome to join the SPC, if all of you could take a few moments to read the super important first post by Sue-UU our fearless leader, it gives lots of info about what can be included in your pot total and the most eagerly awaited pot opening date!
Sue will appear as if by magic at some point to give each of you a nice shiny new, one of a kind, not to be begged, borrowed or stolen, SPC number!  Wear your number on your signature with pride so all can see it and know you are one of us! (one of us, one of us . . sorry, i've watched a lot of films over christmas).
Tell us about yourselves, we are an extremely nosey bunch and there really is no such thing as over sharing here, we will celebrate your successes and commiserate your losses with you.
Above all, enjoy saving! every single penny is an accomplishment! if you want to set a target, do so, if you don't then don't, it's your challenge!

Wow so many new joiners. Welcome all. That’s a job and a half for our lovely Sue  when she’s back on but she’ll be delighted.
Potting kind of stopped for me over Christmas but I’ll try and get back on it now. Day off today which means I can pot some travel savings, although I would have potted travel savings anyway as I would have been working from home had I not had a day off!

I know a few years ago there was talk of inductions not being such a great idea nowadays, so maybe your Niece had heard about it and been reticent as a result. Which was it by the way??? Any name yet?

Ah, there you are, jakes-mum! I was so sure you'd have come back before Christmas to give us the season's greetings, but no..! 😢 Very sad. 

We too are in Tier 4 as of midnight, not a bad thing either to my mind. I will be so glad when Covid gets kicked back to China, with luck!! 😡

Are you sure your young Lily isn't trying to be a bit like her Mum! Glad you got it sorted out.
