Hope everyone had as good a Christmas as possible. I got a £10 note from my auntie and as tempted as I was to pot it I will resist 🤣 and get myself something nice just for myself. Hope you are all coping with the new very confusing restrictions; I rely on the BBC to tell what I can do nowadays. I’m worried about schools closing at the moment and just hanging on to the fact they took him back under the vulnerable children section of the regulations from 1st June. They seriously should have a vulnerable parent section!SPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £20MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; June 2025 £19,394.00 2025 OP £1589/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £2050/£21,930 (9.34%)3

Hi Sue-UU
Hope you've had a good Christmas. 😊 I'm late posting my SPC13 total - (it's on the old thread) but just wanted to let you know I want to carry on saving in 2021. It's been hard trying to save coins with contactless taking over because of Covid but my bank have started doing 'save the change' which rounds up to the nearest £1.00, which I will use in conjunction with any money I can save in my tin next year.

Good Morning all SPCers! I hope you all has a super Christmas! Enjoy a late, but very good (Boxing Day) Monday too folks. Keep warm, and very healthy!!TAKE CARE & STAY HEALTHY EVERYONE!!For all those of you who are either poorly or feeling low or miserable in any way, our very best wishes that you'll soon be feeling very much better.Hubby & I had a lovely day just the two of us together thanks, ETO. It was the first time and we really enjoyed it. 😍😍 How about you and the children?Well done with the Christmas money!! 😊Ah well, if the "holding pot" was too much temptation, then definitely pot it straight away! 😈😉We had a really lovely time thanks, Hetty.I don't blame you at all for treating yourself, you've done brilliantly this last year or more, so time to splash out a little. 😊I check our all about the Tiers on Firefox, we're in 3 now, let's just hope people stick to the rules, it's the only way we're going to beat this blessed virus! 😡Sadly, I think the schools will close, no doubt you're right about them needing to set up a vulnerable parents section. 😉Hi 32b3! I hope you too enjoyed a lovely Christmas day, we certainly did! 😍😍Well done with your potting!Wow a whole 2 months late Dragon Lily!! 😳 I thought you were long gone! I'm afraid you're off of the Membership List as you're definitely very well over the 2 week period set in the rules! It's good to see you, though I'm afraid you're at the end of the list, still your No 057 so in a sense you're a lot higher than you were before. Please be sure to make a note of the Declaration Date!Well done saving the way you're going to, there are several members doing the same, so good luck to you all. 😊 Please swap your new No over on your siggy. I'll go on SPC 13 and have a look at what you were able to save now and add it to the Grand Total. All the best.Hi Lucy, hubby & I had a really lovely Christmas thank you, and you?! Now, be honest... would you honestly have shared your tips when you were your DGS's age?!!Enjoy a good FRIDAY folks, and TAKE CARE PLEASE!! 😊NB folks: Opening date for SPC 14 is 28th October 2021.Anyone wishing to join us, it's NEVER too late!😊 So please just ask and you will be made very welcome.

Hi all and Merry Christmas to everyone who celebrates.
It's been a quiet one. We finished work on the 23rd, having been given Xmas Eve off as a bonus, and very kindly but unexpectedly received some boxes of biscuits as gifts from a couple of neighbours - which resulted in a frantic (and ultimately expensive) trip to Morrisons on Thursday! However it did result in my paying cash for the first time in ages and I got a £2 coin in my change - my first one of the collecting year!! However, my savings using the Plum app are going well, and my intention for the time being is to repay my overdraft which - having paid it off once with unspent savings during the first lockdown - took a hit again with the Xmas shopping (trying to beat any posting delays instead of waiting until my December payday).
Hope everyone has a safe New Year xxSPCNo.18 #20 (17 £562.86 16 £678; 15 £1120.92; 14 £416.53; 13 £191.52; 12 £260.48; 11 £480.95; 10 £682.31; 9 £442.64)

Hello everyone. I potted 15p yesterday. We walked to the local shop to get a few bits like milk and fruit and the self checkout spat a whole load of copper out. Although those few bits won’t last long with my son around. We finally have the new baby in our family. Baby was due on 6th December and arrived on 26th December instead. For some reason my niece refused to be induced so I must admit I’ve had a slightly worrying time fearing something might go wrong. Anyway baby boy arrived in the afternoon of Boxing Day weighing in at 7lb 10oz, It took 2 days before I got a photo which came via her sister and 3 days later he still doesn’t have a name! His Mum, my niece, doesn’t appear to be that organised whereas her sister, my other niece, runs things with military precision. I’m sure he’ll get a name at some point and then he can have his present posted, along with the “extra” present which was supposed to be for his first Christmas!SPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £20MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; June 2025 £19,394.00 2025 OP £1589/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £2050/£21,930 (9.34%)2
