Good Afternoon all Potters! I hope you enjoyed a good (or whichever adjective fits best
Tuesday folks. Keep very healthy!!
TAKE CARE & STAY HEALTHY EVERYONE!!For all those of you who are either poorly or feeling low or miserable in any way, our very best wishes that you'll soon be feeling very much better.Hi Candy, whatever you've saved so far, keep clawing onward and hoping for the best, and let's hope the year will be kind to you. ☺️I'm so pleased your Hubby's getting better, SIJU, sadly mine has slipped backwards! 🤥 very quickly too.Like you, we're lovely and frosty here, lovely and Christmassy, but I'm sure that's all about to change! 🤨Thoughts of sitting by a log burner or simply staring into one sounds soooo appealing. ☺️ Alas, we decided to no longer have one due to our arthritic knees and cleaning out. 😭I don't think I've ever seen a lit garland but it seems lovely. You're like Hubby & I, we're also spending it alone, the safest way I'm sure. Good potting!Take care.Hi Frostie! You've got the best idea, doing what's best for you is the way it should be for us all! 🤩You're very wise if you ask me, and if we all went with what relatives thought, we'd be very poor, silly too! The pre-Christmas sales make a great deal of difference.Well done with the £2 coins!Keep healthy! Our Christmas Tree is up and looking lovely! 😊Enjoy a good WEDNESDAY folks, and STAY HEALTHY PLEASE!! 😊NB folks: Opening date for SPC 14 is 28th October 2021.Anyone wishing to join us, it's NEVER too late!😊 So please just ask and you will be made very welcome.

Good morning Sue and fellow potters. It's lovely and sunny here!
Reporting £7.01 from an online sale potted. Slim pickings but it all helps
So sorry to hear that T is not so well and I'm praying that your back is healing too Sue. It can be excruciating can't it, you poor soul. (I'll email you soon) Had to pay another £2.80 for hospital parking for just 20 minutes to have a blood testUnfortunately, there's no parking at all on the surrounding streets (all double yellow lines) so we had no choice but to pay. Annoying really....it could have been potted. We'll have to pay again this afternoon for G to visit the optician and again next week for the hospital eye clinic. Is there no end to all this?
On the Christmas front I have bought all the presents for immediate family either online or from the local (social distancing aware) garden centre. Anything I couldn't get was bought for me by DD and left on the doorstep. Cards have been written and posted in plenty of time so just a few left to make and push through doors in plenty of time for them to be quarantined before opening. Two online shopping food slots have been reserved so, at last, I feel in control !
A big WELCOME to all new potters! Stay safe everyone xSealed Pot Challenge #012

) Friday folks. Keep very healthy!!
TAKE CARE & STAY HEALTHY EVERYONE!!For all those of you who are either poorly or feeling low or miserable in any way, our very best wishes that you'll soon be feeling very much better.Hi dear little_sweetie, I'm so pleased to see you and hear how you've both got on since I last emailed you A.£7.01 isn't bad at all, though I see your point in that it could have been so much more in your pot, if not for CP parking costs! Still more to fork out yet too!! 😡You know my thoughts on them.I was supposed to have gone yesterday, but due to the ankle and the back problems, I rang and she telephoned me at the appointment time, sent ideal exercises for both too! Very kind of her, otherwise it would have cost us £3 - £5 if over the hour!!!I'm so pleased you've got the Christmas gifts sorted out, cards too. It was so good of your DD to help you out, bless her. 🥰Well done with the shopping slots! It makes such a difference, and the cost of delivery would have cost T in to drive in, and I wasn't prepared to have Terry go in for it, too costly health wise! 😫You stay very safe too A. Love to you both, Sue xxEnjoy FRIDAY folks, and HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND, and TAKE GREAT CARE, PLEASE!! 😊NB folks: Opening date for SPC 14 is 28th October 2021.Anyone wishing to join us, it's NEVER too late!😊 So please just ask and you will be made very welcome.

There has been a pound sitting on the dresser for a good couple of weeks. As it hasn’t been claimed so I’ve potted it it. Also potted some travel savings.

It's nothing special Sue-UU, but I like it! Can completely understand about the work involved with a real fire, chopping the wood and carting it into the wood shed, plus all the cleaning out etc etc. Our DS used to hate us riddling the fire, it was a sure way to get him out of bed when he was a lazy teenager

Hello! I potted a tenner yesterday which was £7.24 from Prolific and some change from our haircuts (2 dry trims). There was also 1p roadkill but I’ll keep quiet about that eh 🤣. Virtually ready for Christmas except this great nephew of mine still has to make an appearance. He was due last Sunday (6th) but is obviously comfy where he is. We had a rare afternoon out yesterday to our local NT property. They have a Peter Rabbit trail on at the moment and we rounded it off with hot chocolate (cream and marshmallows) and bought a couple of new decorations for the tree, which isn't up yet. I’ll be cleaning today so we can put it up next weekend; I don’t like cleaning ☹️SPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86[/COLOUR]:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £20MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; June 2025 £19,394.00 2025 OP £1589/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £2050/£21,930 (9.34%)5

Sue-UU glad you're feeling better, nerve pain is horrendous!
Thanks everyone for your comments. Our girl was PTS the day after I posted, vet came to the house, and they let me cuddle her throughout. It was very peaceful. Thanks for the support
Not much potted this last week, plum has done a few small savings for me thankfully, and I've had 2 bits of roadkill (all under 20p). Ordered something for someone online and they put the cash through the door. Wouldn't have ordinarily potted that, but they paid in lovely shiny £2coins!! So they had to be potted.
Hope everyone is doing okay and not too stressed this time of year.

So sorry to hear of your loss franlow01. Good Afternoon all Potters! I hope you all enjoyed a really good weekend folks. Keep very healthy!!TAKE CARE & STAY HEALTHY EVERYONE!!For all those of you who are either poorly or feeling low or miserable in any way, our very best wishes that you'll soon be feeling very much better.
Clearly nobody else wanted the £1 coin anyway, Ant, excellently potted. Great savings with that as well as the travel money! 🤩Oh my word SIJU!! 😳 It's absolutely beautiful, I really love it. I also love the inglenook type fireplace the wood burner's set into, it's gorgeous and really festive with the garland lit too. I'm positive I've never seen one of those before, but I'll be looking out for one in a minute! 😍Our DS also hated DH riddling ours when he was a teenager too, his bedroom was right above it!! 😂 That was 20 years ago at our previous house. Thanks so very much indeed for showing us the photo, I really appreciate it, though I'll admit to it making me more than a little envious. 😍Hi Hetty! Brilliant work with the money from Prolific! 👏 I'm just waiting for one more survey on YouGov to get another £50! I hope I manage it before Christmas. 🎄Well done with the 1p, we won't tell a certain male SPC member. 😉I'm so terribly sorry to hear your very sad news, Franlow, it's always such a very sad time for our much-loved friends, but sadly a very necessary one to relieve them of their pain. Hubby & I did the same as you and managed to get the vet to come to us; our dear Sally hated going in the car so we couldn't have put her through it. The vet was marvellous, that was 11 years ago, and we now have Jessie who's 10, and for a labrador is as lazy as she could be! Hugs to you.Very well done with your Plum! Even small amounts will gradually build up to large ones, it's the same with roadkill, it all adds up, especially on Declaration Day next October!! I know £2 coins seem quite a lot, and the are, but try potting little bits and pieces too as you'll be surprised what they amount to!Look after yourselves, Sue (not with the -UU at the end, I only used that when I joined as I couldn't be me - Sue xx)Enjoy the remainder of MONDAY folks, have a WONDERFUL TUESDAY, and take TAKE CARE!! 😊NB folks: Opening date for SPC 14 is 28th October 2021.Anyone wishing to join us, it's NEVER too late!😊 So please just ask and you will be made very welcome.
