As I was not the driver I am not able to comment on the signage etc..Yes you can and you must, and the reason you know how sparse and full of wordy/small print the signs were, is from the SAR and your local knowledge.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi Coupon-mad,
Sorry for delayed response but I have been really unwell for the last few weeks.
I don't know the area as I have never been there before however, I can comment on the wording based on the SAR so I can add to that but it will not be a lot of discussion. Are you able to support me on this as I am struggling a little with what I need to address as part of this defence.
Where you able to check my dropbox with my draft defence bundle?
Thanks,
Jay0 -
You are adding a tiny amount of backfground
You only need to show us the few lines you had changed from the template.1 -
Please find attached my redacted draft copy of the skeleton argument as suggested by Coupon-mad.
I still need to think about the signage argument, but any pointers would be great - Thank you.
Some notes to follow when reading the redacted skeleton argument below:- Text in yellow is for me to finalise prior to issuance.
- Text in green could do with some pointers. There are two areas, and you can see point (d) contradicts the paragraph above, but I am unsure which way to tackle the "defence".
- Text in cyan / crossed out is the changes from the defence template to create the skeleton argument as you suggested.
- Please check sections 1, 2 and 3. All other text which is not highlighted is as per the template therefore, no need to check it.

a skeleton should be a page or two of bullets, in my opinion. Not dense meat, just the bones.1

Yes I think chop it to bullet points and remove defence points like denials.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you for your input. I have changed section 2 and 3 into shorter bullet points, see the revised wording below.
Do I keep the rest of the sections in the defence template as part of my skeleton argument or do I removed them? The suggestion before was to remove the statement of truth/signature and references to it being a 'defence' (and remove the start where it says 'it is admitted that/it is denied that').
I have just amended section 2&3 from above and the rest is as part my post on 2nd Feb. any advice would be much appreciated.
Thank you!

The suggestion before was to remove the statement of truth/signature and references to it being a 'defence' (and remove the start where it says 'it is admitted that/it is denied that').You must do that. This currently does NOT read like a skelly.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It's a skeleton. It's a short summary of your key arguments and a debunk of theirs.1

Thanks both. I am trying to find an example skeleton on this forum as I am struggling to shorten it beyond two pages. Are you aware of any examples to support me on this please?0
