P.S. I wouldn't buy that car. You've already got reservations about it, or you wouldn't be here asking what people thought. There are THOUSANDS of cars out there, just waiting to be bought. Leave this one alone. I foresee trouble with it!

Oh and also, from an auction. No, no, no! Run, run like the wind as fast as you can. In the opposite direction.

It's diesel, mileage is about 60K
    So 20k/yr.

Low for a taxi, and it's too young to be being moved on by the various services, I'd have thought.

60k miles isn't that high. I sold my last car at just under 4 years with just under 50k miles on it.

I think that mileage is quite high. My car was 4 years old when I bought it last year and mileage was 23,400.
60K mileage for a 3 yr old diesel is not that high.

why not post the reg and make everyone's life easier to help you?
I wouldn't post MY reg! Sorry. No, NOT sorry! Because it's nobody else's business and I'm sure the OP can investigate just as well as anyone else on here.
    But it's not HIS reg!

He isn't anywhere near buying it yet, it's there advertised at an auction for all to see.

I agree, just tell us the reg and auction site and maybe someone can help shed a bit more light on it.

Could it be an ex-police (unmarked) car. They generally get inspected, by their own mechanics, every 3 to 6 months from new, and whilst they don't require an official MOT it doesn't stop them putting the data onto the DVLA system.

I think your milage is very low and would really have put me off. Anything under 8k a year would need to work hard to get interest. And yes 60K is high(ish), and at that level I would more expect 6 monthly services than MOT's. But if both were done then sounds fine.

The best used car I ever bought had done 54,000 in two years.
