They dont pay out much for homecover tho

Home Assistance
If the vehicle breaks down at your home or within one mile of your home, we will arrange help and reimburse any call-out fees and labour charges needed to start the vehicle. If the vehicle cannot be repaired quickly at the scene of the breakdown, we will reimburse the reasonable cost of taking the vehicle to the nearest available garage. The maximum reimbursement under this benefit ONLY is £45.

We've been with them for a year. Paid £34 for the policy and broke down once. We paid £48 for the callout, posted the claim form on Wednesday and received the cheque on Saturday. My wife says they were very helpful on the 'phone and she had an engineer with her within 40 minutes.
Will definitely be renewing!0 -
When you call the recovery line, state you have no money on you and they will help e.g. arrange for invoice instead of direct payment.what if you have no cash on you at the time? Being a discharged bankrupt, I don't have a credit card, so would I be stranded with no way to pay them?!0 -

Their website isn't very clear on one point...
It says the cover is for the insured plus spouse/partner. But does that mean it would cover two cars or is it only for one nominated vehicle?0 -
The cover is for the person (both of you but you have to married) not the car so it covers you what ever car you are driving (maybe even traveling in) called the twice in 3 years very quick comming out and paying me back for the calims. I dont think you even tell them what car you have.0
