Your call. No one can value your time or knows what £200 means to you. If you can afford it, no-one can deny it's faster.
Obviously the counterpoint is that:
(a) they haven't issued proceedings
(b) it's actually only a modest discount over what it'd cost if you paid in full at the time (assuming £60 increasing to £160)
(c) if you are able to defend the issued claim successfully re: all of the current PCNs, that would at least suggest their prospects of winning in relation to the others are markedly reduced, assuming same circumstances etc.3 -
If they're knocking £200 off, how much are they still asking for? If it's £300 then it's your call ... if it's £600 then they're still over-claiming by £100 versus what they can lawfully claim.2

If you win the first case, the second one has no hope. You know the regulars here say don't pay.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Was the offer marked "without prejudice".You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1

hi guys, sorry I haven't been able to visit the forum in a while. Work has been crazy.
yeah it did say "without prejudice"
but I have another problem. So since my case was passed from Gladstones to Equita, they have informed me that enforcement agents are going to be sent to my house. Now when I submitted my set aside form, I notified Equita as well. However they are still proceeding with the enforcement. I have emailed them again re-stating everything but they say they need to hear from the court directly but the court is taking their time. I even rung them up, they say its awaiting a judge. Don't know what to do. I am not letting anyone enter my house especially since we have gone into a new lock-down.

If they attend your property call the police. a) they are harrassing a consumer in spite of being aware that a set aside of the judgment is being processed, and b) their attendance is not a priority activity and may well be in breach of lockdown rules. If you have someone at the property isolating, all the better.1

True. Calling the police will be my resort if they try to do anything.0

Hey guys, a quick update
Thankfully, the court sent me a letter for my set aside hearing date which will be in December so the enforcement agents are kept at bay. But they have said that the hearing will be via telephone and not face to face. So as per the courts letter I sent my mobile number to the claimaint, gladestones and equita.
Could someone tell me how a telephone hearing will be done? I tried searching on google but couldnt find a clear example. Also would be 30 mins be enough? I was thinking of telling the court that it will take 1 hour instead of 30 mins.

One of the announcements (there are only five) on the first page of the forum is all about telephone hearings and how they are conducted. Suggest that is required reading for you.1

Just checking L_K - do you mean the following which is not a "sticky" (on page 6 atm):-
