£60k in OPs is absolutely amazing!

That house is gorgeous and reminds me of one on the next road to us which was the old police house! Looks very similar. 😀 You should get It printed and on your vision board!

Have a confession. I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago:

Skylight | Skylight Calendar | Smart Family Calendar https://share.google/CGzrpWnkwsXBr1Pkh

Ideally wanted to put it on the wall for maximum visibility, but so far we haven't come up with somewhere due to lack of wall space 🙈 - tiny house problems! We did try one place but our cables are all behind metal trunking and we couldn't go deep enough. I am probably a bit too blasé about drilling because of said trunking 😅. Anyway, no joy there.

It wasn't the cheapest but obviously I maximised codes and cashback etc 😂. Am hoping if things are in DH's face he might be more inclined to do them, and also hoping as kids get older they will help with things too. Probably dreaming 🫠. Anyway, still early days and am still trying to move everything over from a couple of other apps we use.

Have about £700 left so not bad in circumstances, though didn't put anything in nursery fund this month. Have a wedding on Saturday so that will be expensive drinks but paid on Tuesday so not long now.

Got our payslips today. Extra £1215 between us so better than expected. Can add to nursery account to make up for what we missed this month. Am also considering later this year reducing DS2 to 4 days nursery for x months before he leaves as that will reduce our bill a bit. I'll do sums at some point and see impact.

Can you fix the calendar to a kitchen cupboard. We had a small house a couple of houses ago (I mean my current one isn't a palace but I have a bit of space here at least) and I used to utilise kitchen cupboard doors for hanging things and putting kids pics on etc.

    That's a fantastic pay rise too 👏🏻!

That's a good idea, but it's heavy and they'd be too thin for rawl plugs and I think cable would get in the way which is a shame.

Another house popped up this morning. Blank canvas. Think would be lovely done up. Prices are definitely stagnating which isn't a bad thing for us wanting to upsize (as long as we can actually sell ours 😬).

Money was going okay but have since spent £30 on fireworks tickets, £50 on plasticised people tickets for my mum's birthday and another £90 for Christmas steam railway 🫠. Suppose part of working is so we can do nice things with kids!

Oh, and another £80 for after school clubs if I can get the two I want later (it's a bit of a competitive system like getting concert tickets 🫠).
