Will preface this by saying I'm an arsenal supporter and currently gutted. This reminds me of when we went out of the champions league in 2001. I was 15 and went to bed early without talking to anyone. Currently feel like hormones are on opposite side now but still fighting me 😂 .
FIL has by some miracle pulled through but won't answer DH calls. I can only say it's a complex relationship. Can't imagine treating my own child like that, but I know sone families are that way...
This month has been pretty atrocious financially. DH's birthday is right before father's day so double whammy. We've also had fuel to Scotland and we've found a holiday club DS1 loves but obviously we had to pay for that.
Usual 1.1k in nursery fund and 500 in moving fund. If we keep this up by Decemberish we should have covered remaining nursery fees for DS2 (who will leave around August next year).
Job wise have found myself in a slightly bizarre situation where they will promote me without interview because my job is going and they want to keep me. Not the best time to be entering the job market so I know I should be grateful.
By luck work are honoring whatever bank holiday Scotland are having on 15th (payroll is there) so we are being paid early on 12th which is welcome 😅.
On a personal level pretty sure my body has had it. Was out at 6.50 this morning to post my vinted parcels 🙃. I do love the quiet to be honest. It solidified how much I love our little village and want to stay here. When we are finally in a position to go I might be slightly different and see if anyone on our local Facebook page is looking to move. The sell then look for something isn't the best here as supply is limited, but I'm hoping I can maybe pull at someone's heart strings 🥹

Bit of a laugh... after taking most of our cash out of premium bonds having not won for months we've now won both months since 😂. I forgot to check yesterday but we've just got an email. Assumed it was £25 but was actually £100! Also need to update mortgage figure as that went on 1st.

I was just updating my mortgage spreadsheet. Thought I'd share it as I don't think I have before. It records every OP I've ever made (quite sad 😂). Each remortgage has it's own tab. The daily interest is actually more than it was when we first took it out and owed over 100k 🫠
