As long as you are not a company , so are a private individual , your preference is usually accepted
Email it to the ccbcaq address , plus email the solicitor if one is used , or the PPC direct if no solicitor is being used2 -
How far apart are they? It's almost always the Defendant's local court unless the D is a company then it's the Claimant's court in many cases. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I have not yet received the claimant's N180 copy.
Thanks for the quick response anyways0 -
As you are the defendant, the choice of court is yours. It can only be the claimant's if you defend as a company. You use the same e-mail that you used to send your defence. It goes to CCBC not a court. The CCBC will then send you a notice of allocation when they have slotted your hearing into your court's schedule. You send the copy to the claimant using the "address for documents" that you will find on the original claim form. If they have communicated with you by e-mail, then it is perfectly acceptable for you to do the same.2

I have emailed CCBC the form N180. I have emailed CEL seperately as well as their solicitors.
Do i also need to send a snail mail to CEL as they have only been communicating to me by the same medium?
Interestingly, with a deadline of 30th November I am yet to receive the claimant's N180Le_Kirk said:As you are the defendant, the choice of court is yours. CEL don't use solicitors. They have Wonga-man and his crew (I'm sure you've read other CEL threads).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

We did receive letters from QDR solicitors0

Yes but that was purely as pseudo 'debt recovery' to bump up the fake costs. They didn't file the claim and are not involved.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

What a farce from these scamsters

Am I right in expecting the claimant's form N180 copy? What happens if the claimant misses the deadline?Coupon-mad said:Yes but that was purely as pseudo 'debt recovery' to bump up the fake costs. They didn't file the claim and are not involved.

Nothing happens; the N180 is not vital for you to see. As long as the court gets theirs it will continue.
The NEWBIES thread explains all the stages in 'IMPORTANT - KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN' (red heading).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
