  • For first change the name to unique and relewant.
  • Caring and being interested are two different things, knowing how much the OP has been offered for the house is a good indicator on the general economy, sentiment and where banks are on lending, and those are interesting and important things IMO.
No it isn’t - for someone who is obsessed with house prices you really don’t understand how the housing market works do you?

So you think sentiment and lending has nothing to do with the housing market?

No I think (and so do you - unless if course it is a price that a supports your “argument” - I’m feeling generous so I am calling your garbled wailing and frantic posting of any article that you think supports you an argument) that the price offered by one person on one house is literally meaningless in the context of the wider housing market, let alone the economy.

  • The viewings I've done with sellers in person have always felt Something goes wrong during viewings. I would suggest letting the agent conduct future viewings and see if that makes a difference.
I think some people would be more comfortable  viewing with an agent and then asking "Do you think they'd take £X"

So far they don`t have any offers but I believe an announcement of something may be imminent? My argument has always been that a property bubble doesn`t benefit ordinary people it just encourages them into more and more debt for basic shelter.

Yes, this year everyone is saying that sales and prices are going to drop.
Well I think everyone needs to get a grip because their pandemic-inspired armageddon has turned out to be a pretty damp squib so far.
Almost as damp as that pokey bedsit everyone’s been renting for the last twelve or so years.

The changes to bank lending alone are massive.

As more and more people return to their parents there will probably be less viewings in general and more low offers, and more and more threads about it on property forums.
