I absolutely don't care what stand people take on this forum and I don't care about your opinion on whether I'm trustworthy or not! I was just sharing my experience with tesco so that others can relate as I know it has happened to quite a few people! You thought I came here for sympathy??? hahaha...
You actually did ask for opinions in your initial post. You were not just sharing your experience. to be preciseI know they are a private company, but is there anything I can do about it?Some people have mentioned that Tesco online shopping does not come from local stores. That is not strictly true. The online stuff is done at the bigger stores by staff who role it is to go round the store putting together the order. It may be that the big store is the local one to the OP.

Having just come for the first time to this thread , my only comment is that IMHO it has gone on too long.
Nobody except the purchaser and the driver know what went on. And what more is there to say after 4 pages of posts ?

You just said something which extended the thread thus defeating your purpose and also meaning that I said something as well. Also your little signature bit would suggest that commenting is what we should be doing as long as we are doing it with knowledge. Its not clear of what the knowledge has to relate to though.

But you're quite right about my defeating the main point of my post, by extending the thread1 -

To point out the obvious you have done it again. I think you protest too much sire.

It's probably untrue that Sainsbury's has just been on to MSE querying the identity of this thread's iniriator. But I'll not extend the thread with further details. As the OP herself/himself said, it's all hahahaha.0

Waitrose, maybe. . .*Disclaimer: it is not the intention of this information-only post to extend this thread.
