I'm unable to contact them in any meaningful way. There's no email, phone number and their web chat is permanently broken. I have tried their community forum (which I think is inappropriate for account sensitive information anyway) and I'm still unable to cancel my account. I've cancelled the direct debit and I'm getting hounded by automated emails demanding payment. What can I do? I've never used their service and really don't want my credit score hit for this nonsense.

  • It's SIM only. I have tried multiple times to contact them but the chat simply doesn't load. Can you try?

Until it's sorted I suggest restart the DD or as sure as night follows day your debt will be passed to a debt collection agency and your credit rating is stuffed
Check with one of the agencies [free] how your credit record looks a the moment, are the non payments already on there?
If so you are well on the way do upsetting any future credit you may want
As above, use the link PDQ and don't duck the overdue payment, they will not just vanish

You need to log on via the link above or download the id mobile app and do it from there.

Chat is available once you are logged into your account or the app

I thought you could just text STAC to 75075 t cancel the contract (and lose the current number) and PAC if you want a code to move number to a  new provider

You have to provide the PAC or STAC to another provider to cancel.
  • So I've finally reached customer service, by pure luck it seems. They DO have an email (can I share it here for others?) They've cancelled the contract however they are digging their heels in and demanding payment. This is despite me insisting that I could not cancel during the cool down period as I had no means of contacting them. All I could do was cancel the DD. How can I dispute this?

Could you not have cancelled via the app, using a STAC/PAC with another provider or old fashioned letter?

    Thanks
