Can someone please tell me how to subscribe to the free tickets thread? (usually check for replies to my posts - but cant post in that thread)

Cinemas only get 20% of a ticket price, normal price that is! that's not really that much, they have to make their money from popcorn and stuff

oh and stu, you can go to the thread and click 'thread options' > 'subscribe' or something like that

Hi saw Def Maybe film tonight - well it was an ok film couple of laughs - very predicatble like most RC films - I would give it a 5/10

Just back from Definitely Maybe and not very convinced of what to give, it was good but it stretched for too long. Good acting, but still not so seriously good acting. I felt it half way between the usual comedy and an" intelligent" comedy, but neither one nor the other. So I' d give 7/10.
The cinema was quiet empty, amazingly, and I felt a cold audience.:rolleyes: :A Undecided. Maybe I need to see it again, but later on not now. I' ve also been under the weather so that might influence. :think: :question:

Seeing as so many tickets have been flogged by seefilmfirst.com, i was surprised, yet again to find the cinema half empty.

Not one i would see again and defo would not pay for the glory!!

Saw Juno last week and thoughly enjoyed it 9/10. would recommend anyone to see it, even those who are suspicious that this is worth a see - it defo - IS!!

Definatley Maybe is definatly naff . Thank goodness I did not pay to see this film . OH fell asleep lucky thing, wish I'd left after 10minutes. Appalling acting,poor script with good looking people. I would give it 2/10 and reckon it will go straight to dvd.

Looks like I might be in the minority, but here goes - I quite liked Definitely, Maybe :rolleyes:

Saw it in Cardiff Odeon tonight, took my boyfriend who HATES RomComs with the promise that we could leave if it was truly naff. The cinema was pretty full, and I got to see the whole film, which is a bonus!

I'm not really into RomComs, I don't find them that funny most of the time, but I enjoyed this one, it wasn't too schmultzy I guess.

I'd probably give it about 7/10 - it's no where near the best film I've seen, but I've also seen far worse.

saw def maybe tonight. Rom coms not my sort of thing generally, but I wanted to brain that daughter after about 2 minutes.
I think if she'd been mine she would have been exposed on a Greek hillside at birth!
