Free Cinema Tickets - Discussion thread

He he, yes, well, it just gets your hopes up, you get an email, you log on eagerly anticipating a new code, then it's nothing but chat, you get that ten times a day, after a while you think should I really log in again it's probably just chat again, and wham - you miss a code.Reclaimed thanks to this site:
£175 Abbey Mortgage Repayment Fee, £170.03 Capital One Bank Charges £418.07 Lloyds TSB Bank Charges, £2,671.55 Mis-sold Endowment Policy, all for OH0 -
It is annoying, but is not always so simple for Newbies.. I think to make it clearer and put this argument (that has been going on for what feels like forever) to an end is to actually make this discussions thread a sticky right below the codes thread and make the names very clear as to what they are.
The discussion thread is not always on the first or even second page, and the first thing people see is the free tickets thread - probably blissfully unaware of the 'no discussion' bit as they see the word FREE
Maybe it's worth a trial run, as it would make less animosity on the board.0 -

I'm always blinded by my favourite word "FREE". I think you are right, there has been a call to make the discussion thread a sticky in the past.
People will always add a quick post in the free ticket thread, the temptation seems too great.
Posting in anger should be avoided at all times, I use this policy with emails in general life. I can rattle off an angry email then before I hit the send key, I delete it. Walk away, then come back and send a considered response or nothing at all.
For those that always respond to a post try this: Oh there's a non-ticket post again, I'll leave that to the moderator to clear out, now lets get back to something important.Just looking to save a few pennies here and there0 -
With reference to the just tickets thread, can anyone tell me what an ambassador code is, why no one else is supposed to use it and how to become an ambassador for See Film First? Cause it's the first time I hear about this.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

Hi Beate,
I got an invitation email from seefilmfirst to be an ambassador, they send you codes that are specifically for ambassadors. They are not the codes from magazines, web sites etc so they can tell whether they are being used by actual ambassadors. I haven't heard the same as farrell285 but I don't get many ambassador codes. I rely on the friendly people here to get my tickets.
Hope that helpsJust looking to save a few pennies here and there0 -

We saw that movie last night in Greenwich and I would DEFINITELY not recommend it to anyone but MAYBE somebody found it to their liking. Some funny moments in it but not enough to give it more than 4 out 10.
The next one we're going to see will be The Bank Job end of this month plus hopefully a couple of movies in-between.0 -
