I am going with my fiance tonight to see Juno in Basingstoke. He finishes work at 5.30 and it says the film starts at 6.30. Are there trailers shown at these free previews? We should make the start of the film if there are trailers!
hey, hope u make it, good film
there arent usually trailers when i go to screenings in bristol, and there werent when i went to Juno last week, but i guess Basingstoke might decide to chuck some in!. Most screenings i go to it usually starts on time, so hopefully it doesnt take you long to get to the cinema!
enjoy the film!A good friend can tell you what is the matter with you in a minute ...:A0 -
No there are never trailers at free previews, it usually starts on the dot, and a few cinemas won't let you in anymore if you arrive after the start time.I am going with my fiance tonight to see Juno in Basingstoke. i'd be surprised if anyone actually PAID to go and see Juno at this rate!
Yes but not everyone is as clever as we are and knows about free previews.

It's very very rare that there are trailers. The film should start straight away at 6.30 - although it would be good if everyone knew this, the amount of people that always trail in up to half an hour after a film has started never fails to amaze me. Usually on the seefilmfirst site when you apply for tickets it says 6.00 for 6.30 or something like that but then the print off just says 'Starts 6.30'.0 -
If it's a Times preview, there's usually a few adverts from the other sponsors of the preview (a Landrover advert, Sky advert etc.) but it's more like 5 minutes of adverts, rather than the half hour of adverts / trailers you get when you pay for a film. I have seen people walk in a bit late though, so you might be ok.0

It depends on the cinema though, and recently the Odeon Greenwich apparently started a screening at 6pm, which I found out when I asked why Arctic Tale had started at 10.30am already. They reckon they can start a screening anytime between the "6 for 6.30pm" or "10.30 to 11am" start noted on the ticket. It's very rare, but these days I try to be there for 6pm whenever I can (just to then stand about for half an hour, LOL).Reclaimed thanks to this site:
