Well I can guarantee The Diving Bell won't get any Oscars
    http://www.totalfilm.com/movie_news/oscar_nominees_announced!
However it did win two important Golden Globes (best director, best foreign film)
you guys got a rating out of 10? full marks maybe?

This totalfilm page is not loading, but Diving Bell & Butterfly is nominated for 4 (I think... it's too late to count. :-) Oscars. http://www.oscar.com/nominees/ (I'm intrigued, what does total film say????)

I'm thinking about the rating. I thought it was a really good film, but it is not an easy topic. But it beats everything else I've seen this year.

Thanks to those who help us to win !

  • i saw underdog! was quite good! better than i expected! quite funny, i didnt get bored and look at the time every 10 minutes which is a bonus, cuz i usually would! if u have a good sense of humour and take it all lightly and dont think about anything when you're watching it, its highly recommended!

Thanks - this confusion is now easily resolved when I look at the list. Total Film is showing the French title of the film, Le Scaphandre et le papillon, not the English one we've been discussing. :-)

And I still have two tickets for 31 Jan @ 6.30pm at Odeon Greenwich. I will email them that I can't go on the 30st if no one wants them but if someone does, they are up for grabs until then. I have this strange feeling that some Juno screenings might be a wee empty this week.
