do you mean you react immediately to the emails seefilmfirst send you or the new codes posted on the thread?
I found when I was just a member of seefilmfirst waiting for them to send me emails then most of the time they had run out of tickets. But since I've discovered the film codes thread I tend to get most tickets I apply for and then about a week later seefilmfirst send me an email with a new code for a film I already have tickets for! so they must only send out emails after trying to give them away through other promotions etc.
I'll switch to using the new codes on the Tickets thread in future!0 -
Has anyone noticed that it's almost impossible NOT to see a film this Sunday? There is Arctic Tale, Underdog, Cloverfield and The Diving Bell and the Butterfly. It's a shame I am not into French arthouse movies, I would have liked to check out the Picturehouse Greenwich, it is said to have really comfy seats! (Am I shallow or what)

Maybe some cinemas are more popular than others with people? I sometimes miss out but then another code for the same film comes along and I get in. On the whole, seefilmfirst is the one I am most successful with, Time Out does not like me very much, and I can count on one hand the occasions I got tickets through other sites. Strangely enough seefilmfirst isn't sending me codes by email (have I forgotten to tick something when registering?), I just happen to fall over them in magazines or, mostly, read them on here. It's a good idea to subscribe to the Tix thread, this way you can react immediately.
How do I subscribe to the thread for the codes?I get PM but not the thread. Step by step, pls. Thanks.;)

Hi Marialionza
At the top of the thread page you should see "Thread tools", click on this and you should see "subscribe to this thread" as an option. Select that option.
That should do it for you.Just at the bottom of the thread as I type I can see Additional options and Notification Type
select instant email notification from the drop down box.
good luck. I can PM you if you need any more helpJust looking to save a few pennies here and there0 -

Next INSIDER screening - HEADS UP !
As I left tonight's Insider screening of Lady Godiva I asked at the box office if they knew what the next Insider film was going to be.
After checking with a manager I was informed it was going to be a Kids movie called The Ugly Duckling (or something like that) and that 3 extra tickets (making 5) would be available to each member (I presume the extra 3 may be children only)
Having checked IMDB for Ugly Duckling, the newest film I found was "The Ugly Duckling and Me! (2006)" which I thought couldn't be the film in question, however the details give it a UK release date of 8 February 2008 !
So I guess this is it ! http://uk.imdb.com/title/tt0396042/
Given it's for kids I was told it would be shown at a suitable time - which probably means a Sunday morning (might be a Saturday I suppose) but with the release date so close there are ONLY 2 weekends up for grabs so they will have to be damned quick in getting the invites out.
Not sure if all Insiders will get an invite or if the distribution will be tailored to members with kids (can't remember if the registration asked for this type of info)
If anyone does receive the "Duck" email perhaps they'd be so kind to post the details just in case some of us don't !
For those yet to receive their Insider email (mine arrived at 6pm) I was correct.
The film IS called this "The Ugly Duckling and Me!" and will be shown at 10:30 AM on Saturday 2nd Feb.
Each Insider member will be able to get 4 tickets. (Not 5 as I originally was led to believe)
